Hi peeps. Things are going well here foodwise. Had a little celebration of our 4-year anniversary and getting engaged last night that involved a gorgeous bottle of champagne from my lovely brother back home :T Exercise is much harder though - we've looked everywhere for yoga classes which I was expecting to be able to do most days but there are none!
It's extremely polluted here so road running is out of the question. The Hyatt hotel (the best hotel in Nepal) is literally a stone's throw from our house but they won't let me use their pool or running track unless I pay a monthly membership of £160!!!! That's a lot at home but when you think you can eat a meal in a restaurant here for 18p, you can see how obscene it is! We did go there yesterday just for the day which was nice but it's frustrating to not be able to use it regularly. I love swimming, it's like torture walking past the pool several times a day!
No idea when I'll be able to weigh, just depends when the lady is back with her scalesThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Off to work in a mo, very bitterly cold here how did that happen so quickly and next week the clocks make it darker sooner roll on spring:rolleyes:

Got one half the top half of my uniform but not the bottom still waiting, it is too big but that is all they have:rolleyes:0 -
Good morning
I'm rather pleased with myself, as I watched TV last night without munching! Mind you, it was a 'back to the 80's' style music programme and I'm a huge Gary Numan fan! You can add his mame or Tubeway Army to the list of live gigs we're all confessing to having attended over the years.(Sorry, but it's true!) I haven't even eaten breakfast yet this morning! Household is just starting to wake up! Have done the morning livestock duties and had cuppa (or 2) with neighbour, though.
Best go get a slice of toast to start the day properly. Have a good weekend, everyone.

soz been absent for a few days. Lodger hunting and mosaic making have distracted me. Very pleased to report that we have a lodger moving in this afternoon. Phew. Very little English so will be harder work than I would have chosen, but seemed very sweet and smiley so we virtually offered it on the spot as soon as she showed enthusiam - don't need the same language to pick up some essentials.
Wow, kpcSOTW:TJolly good show.
Rosie - sorry to hear about the break in - very insettling and invasive but glad you are all ok.
Nyk - impressive restriant on the tv eating - I was watching that very same programme last night as very much 'my era'. Was amazed at the power the songs had to take me right back to a different time/place/life. I will confess here to seeing OMD in concert:D
bails - how frustrating re the gym/pool.
Mazza, great news re no op, &hope Portugal is back on now 'that conversation' has been had. Well done for sts and not putting back on with recent events and less exercise. Losing 4 st by changing how you eat is truely impressive:T
Ppop - glad to hear the eating slower helped. Thanks for the reminder bails, I am so useless at remembering to do that and I def eat far too quickly. And congrats on OH promotion:T
Welcome RV2 - post often for max benefits from the forum.
