Hooray Hooray for KPC who is the SOTW for this chart, just a smidgen more than Hezza (the beauty of weighing in kilos, KPC!)

We have an actual loss this week too, well done us. (No thanks to me though :o. And next week won't be any better - off for a long weekend now with hotel dinner every night.)

Finally done some exercise for the first time in ages! Went belly dancing and my coordination seemed a little better. It's surprisingly tiring wiggling yours hips!
And I've also been for a short (but relatively quick run). Don't know why I keep on finding excuses not to go running I really enjoy it nowadays and I can run inside or outside so am spoilt.

Thanks for the chart Granny and have a lovely weekend away! Great that it was only a small gain.

Well done to KPC for SOTW :T woop woop! Hope this inspires you to keep going this week too, congrats!

I struggled a little yesterday and felt as if I'd had a blow out but when I looked back on what I'd actually eaten it was really fine. It still amazes me how the way you eat something ie what mood you're in when you eat it can have such a physical affect on your body. There's my 'food for thought' for this morning :D

Despite being in an amazing location, I have to confess to finding things difficult at the mo as I would really love to be starting a job back home I can really get my teeth into and dedicate myself to longterm. Longtimers on here will know this isn't as ungrateful for my situation as it sounds. I guess I am worried that I won't be successful in finding that job either. Sigh, sorry for the downer, just needed to get that off my chest.

Have a great day everyone! xx

    Hi,
Thanks for the chart, hopefully it will motivate me to keep losing each week. Went to Legs bums n tums last night, and going to Step class tonight.

Well done kpc on being slimmer of the week, good for you!!:D

Victory, I was reading through some older posts, and I read some advice you gave about binge eating, I must admit, that's my main problem, so it was lovely to hear that i'm not the only one that has ever struggled with it. Doing not too badly the last couple of days, I just need to take it one day at a time I guess!

Hope everyone has a lovely day,

Well done Katypoppycat! :T:beer: <--- make it a low cal drink :)

Thanks for the chart, it's really helpful to see it all set out like that, makes me a bit more determined NOT to gain any more weight. My will power, when it comes to nighttime, is so weak. Funny thing is, where I would normally have smoked a cig whilst having my cuppa, I don't even miss that, but still feel compelled to eat sweets! I'm like Pavlov's dogs, I hear the TV going on at night and I start salivating at the thought of some sweets to munch whilst watching flickering pictures! I MUST decondition and break that habit completely, I MUST, I MUST, I MUST!

I guess it would be easier if I didn't live with 2 others who are both trying to GAIN weight!

    Congrats on SOTW KPC! :j

Granny you're always off somewhere at the moment! :p Lucky lady! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Great to hear you're back into the swing of things Vixstar! Keep up the good work!

Nykmedia - have you tried doing something else while watching tv? Ironing, mending, exercises, crafts, any little easy jobs that can be done as a multitask?

I'm having work done in the kitchen and this is day 3 of snacking out of a picnic bag instead of eating properly! Managing fine though, and keeping a reasonably healthy balance while still having my full calorie allowance. It's a week until my next monthly weigh in.

I m glad you found it helpful, binge eating is not something people talk about because it conjures up greed, out of control, people think that you can stop, that you are just being an over eater but binge eating is aside from that, in a different catagory and not as easy to get over and over come for life as somethings are like dropping carbs or giving up choc or cutting the portions down, I am convinced it is some sort of brain chemical release that makes you loose the plot for a while, otherwise why would I feel the need to do it in secret ? It has many levels to it, deprived of food as a child, comfort eating, fear of it running out, the way you look at food and think about it but binge eating is a witch to control:rolleyes:

nyk like missy says always do something else whether it be a bath, nails, hair, cross words, exercise, talking on the phone, writing, reading, googling, chat forums, planning for xmas, organizing the fridge or cupboard, house work, laundry, ironing, making xmas hampers, anything but keep busy and if all the above fails 'save' someo f your cals for just that the evenings, less during the day but when it comes to night time you have some cals left over to be able to eat:D
