Well done Rosieposie -- Slimmer of the week for the first chart of October
    .10dzbie.jpg

Our total weight loss this week seems to be a little gain actually ..... maybe the colder weather has made some of us (including me) feel that we need to eat a bit more than we have been?

I've unhidden some of the people who joined but haven't sent in many results ... they'll disappear again next week unless they tell me thay want to be kept on. (not actually be deleted - just hide again)

Good luck to us all for next week.

Granny avoid all shops that sell chocolate!! Or wear the tightest pair of trousers you own and feel really uncomfortable in, so when you see the chocolate, you don't want to buy it. It's crisps with me. Trying to encourage my lad to abandon his crisps at lunch time. Got as far as him having minicheddars instead, which i'm not a fan of, so it's been easier this week.

Been mega busy at work  so haven't really had time to stop for chocolate or crisps from the vending machine. And the work has been quite challenging because it's so long since i've worked in that office. Remembering procedures n such. But has been fun too, much prefer to be kept busy than standing around doing nothing. Have been organised and took a sandwich to work every day this week, even though I haven't got round to eating it til after my shift :D

Welcome to all our newbies, and good luck with you're weight loss journeys.

Morning:D working today so frantically making them cottage pie just to reheat in the microwave, eldest is a pain keeps telling me I am ruining his life by working on a thursday because he could have joined the school basketball team (he has to pick up little one from school and bring him home) we all have to make sacrifices:rolleyes:

I have cooked all mine ready for when I get back in so don't have to wait or pick whilst waiting, it takes some remembering and doing all this pre planning but hey keeps the lbs off:D my life would be so much easier if I could just grab....

Bid and won chessington tickets so we are going there for halloween can't wait and it is open until 8pm so more time for fun:D you can hold the spiders, will pass on that one, rides in the dark great.

The garage door is £112, typical insurance is £150 excess so we shall pay it, OH is chuffed today, he wanted for a long time a jet pressure washer and got one from Aldi on their thrusday deals for £58, 2000w it is so a powerful one he said that there was only 2 left and the others were infront of him buying them, that was at 09.10 thi morning:D

Victory - You're so organised and I think that's where I'm going wrong. I have planners for exercise but not for food. I'm gonna take your advice and write another list before I do the weekly shop (OH thinks I've got OCD for list making :D). Definately cheeky of your OHs boss wife especially if you've never met her.
Sary - If your 17yo is looking for a part time job, try your local cinemas. That's what I did. You could sell it with the "it's not really work - you're getting paid to watch all the latest movies etc." we also got 2 free tickets every week for family and friends to keep him in with his mates.
Brighton Belle - You're right this is becoming adictive. It's fine at the moment because i'm on holiday but what will I do on Monday when I go back to work:eek:
Still trying to watch what i'm eating - no junk food basically but no gym today. Might dig out OHs dusty weights later and throw them about and try not to terrify the cats or OH:D

pep the list making and organizing the food does really pay dividends:D my lists are for everything, birthdays, food, xmas, have to do lists, future lists, doctors lists you name it, I can be instantly forgetful so when I remember it I make a list of things, I bought a note pad to put in my handbag and it is a life saver, oh and never go shopping hungry:D

Been at work this afternoon and a lady came in holding a 'love to toast' white bread loaf, I had to be restrained from grabbing it off her, putting it in the toaster and scoffing the whole load:rotfl::rotfl:that was my fantasy today with food:rotfl:
