Congratulations Granny! Have you made any retirement plans? I can't adam and eve that you are still in bed at gone 11!! Even i don't do that....unless i had a big bender the night before
My parents are get up early people and even i was up before my mum this morning so perhaps this morning is the day for it! I did actually think of you this morning as i was taking matt to work, i was flicking through the radio stations and i got to radio 4! just as it was announcing they were doing a service from a church in Blean, with the archbishop of canterbury which is right near where i live. What a coinsidence! I had a little listen but the hymns were boring.
BB: What a top idea! His rota does sit on the fridge but i never look at it. I only ask matt what he is working a day ahead so im always clueless, and so is he most of the time. I know i need to eat more fruit and veg though, and i have bought a load from a local farm shop so im on the right path.
Victory: What is the gold pot thing? I like making things for people, i used to make cards but ive lost my card drive for that one. I did the baskets one year and got the idea from here. I also liked the chocolate slabs so i might do that one this year for people.0 -

sary without xmas lists, food lists, shopping lists and every other list of lists there are I would never cope;) I bought a lined book for little one yesterday to put his thoughts in, just an encouragement to get him to write neatly and not to get so frustrated when he goes to say something but has forgotten it, just a gentle nudge, he wrote in it 'I love cheryl' so we asked him if that was his girlfriend, no, does he speak to her, no, is she in the same class, yes, oh the greatness of non communication love:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

These are the ones I made the pots of gold, you fill a pot with all gold things, werthers, gold coins, ferrero, gold biscuits etc and a scratch card and cellophane it and attach a note0 -
crumbs that is massive hang on a mo...
that is better unwrapped and wrapped the thing about them is you put in a scratchcard and wish them a 'pot of gold' the ones I have made for the teachers and neighbours etc do not have a scratchcard in them because I am too tight to pay the £1 for the card and could never rest if they won ha ha but they work out very cheap if you buy the BOGOF tesco gold coins and BOGOF Ferrero Rocher and werthers are only 89p a pack, go over to the thread and it is al lthere...0 -
they look fab Victory!I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

When will you finish then?
My last working day will be April 1st --- yes, April Fool's day and too many jokes leap to mind. I have to give a term's notice so I could have waited till Christams to tell every one but I thought I'd give them a chance to sort out what to do. There are lots of other changes for the school in the pipeline so it's a bit complicated. I'd like to work a bit after April - a few days a month would be ideal - but with a bit of care I think I can manage not to work at all. :j:j0 -
Daughter doing a bit better Sary, still got some pains, but who knows what they are, they have now changed her from depo injection to implants to see if it makes any difference to her. So far no change tho.
Have applied for a couple of jobs, but there's not a lot going atm. Am really feeling the effects of not having my daily exercise at work thoReally should get more motivated to do something outside of work. Tomorrow after I visit my mother, i plan to put on some good music and dance around the house whilst cleaning up, on my crutches.. well any exercise is better than none, right?
