We're hoping next September, but saving for a house and a wedding at once is quite scary, so we'll have to see how the money pans out.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
Went away for three days - put on 3.25lb.
[STRIKE]Sadly[/STRIKE] Happily will be away for two weekends in September so will probably lose no weight at all next month (and that's being positive - could continue putting on ) I just can't get my head around being 'on holiday' and still being thoughtful about what I eat.0 -
granny~Dont worry about it.
I hope you enjoyed your three days away
I am exactly the same.

Granny, would you like to ask Grandadnise if i could come with you please?
Dinah: Yes that is tough! Even though im not engaged i do wonder how we will manage marriage/house. Im only 2 weeks odd away from being 23, i cant get married with wrinkles and have babies during the menopause.
Beanie: What do you think about the bomber being released?0 -
I have an ulcer on my lip, so it really hurts when i drink tea.
I thought i would share that with you all0 -
Actually Vix I am in agreement of the release.
I think we have to show compassion in such circumstances as was done to Ronnie Briggs.
Thats not to say I am unaware of the other side of the coin.
For me though it sits well with my buddhist principles.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. The 2 food doctor diet books I bought off the car boot sale say a lot about eating out, joining in, being on holiday and say use the 80/20 rule if all else fails but otherwise look for the protein and breakfast should be egg or cheese with rye bread, not the continental buffet types, lunch include some fish, meat or poultry, the same is true for dinner, more complex carbs at lunch and more protein for dinner as there is little way of ;burning it off. For snack, keep a supply
of hard fruits like apples, raw unsalted nuts but not the whole packet, fill containers with raw vegetables, grapes, cherry tomatoes and pieces of cheeses.0 -
STS for me this week please.0

Here is the last chart for August. Congratualtions to VanyaH who is SOTW and SOTM!:j:j:j
Don't worry if you've disappeared off the chart, I've just hidden anyone who hasn't recorded a WI at all this month, except for new peeps. I've put you on just to show you that you're in the gang now. If I've got anything wrong pleae let me know and I'll change it for the new month's chart.
As you'll see out total weight loss for this week has been a measly 0.2lb. And who's fault is that? Granny:ohangs her head in shame. I don't think anyone made the 5lb for the month - the first time I can ever remember that happening.
Next week is the start of a new year for everyone with children in school (or those who may be still at school themselves) so maybe we'll have a few new year's resolutions? I certainly will - for a few days anyway.
Love you all -- and better losing to us all for September. Granny XXX0 -
Wow - that looks really good and I feel all "welcomed" and almost warm and fuzzy now that I'm on there - thanks!
I decided to sod off swimming, but have played around with the money spreadsheet that I keep with OH to keep track of our finances and savings, so I guess that's very MSE of me and makes up for not going swimming. And I've been good at keeping on track with the Tesco Diet plan, so I don't feel toooooo guilty (might feel different on Friday when I weigh in...).0
