I remember hearing once that Jaffacakes are the lowest fat chocolate type treat you can have, only 70 cals each or something. That said in my house everyone else would scoff the packet and I still wouldn't get my one saintly treat!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Afternoon:D just been blackberry picking again, good exercise all that walking/cycling etc very good, so hot and sticky today, could barely sleep last night for it:rolleyes: nice to wear short sleaves though:D
sts for me this week please
ran out of money now until next monday pay day so will be doing a lot of walking and park visiting me thinks:D
We have had electrical trouble this week, kettle gone another bought, two light bulbs gone more bought, my son;s 32" tele not working (he is walking around like a lost dog:rotfl:) ebuyer coming to collect tomorrow and then it is a 3/5 day turn around, we are getting little one some fish, bought for £1 the sponge bob tank all the flakes and food etc (we had been to the pet shop the day before and the tank alone was £20, let alone the £3,49 for the food and the £1.29 for the net and the £3.99 for the gravel so we got one bargain at the boot fair) anyway the filter is on, it is all set up and he is happily awaiting the arrival of his fish in a few days time when the water is filtered and settled:D so excited he is that I have caught him just looking into an empty tank:rotfl:
Bought from the boot fair yesterday two food doctor books, very good they are one is the 7 day diet booster and the other is recipes for life by the food doctor, very good, except I am not that into eating all the carbs for lunch and then none for dinner just protein, I guess that is what they do in the med and htey say have more time to exercise away the carbs so it does not turn to fat, but my lunches are always light ones not carb ones, the muesli idea I get and bought some today no added sugar from the co-op, tried getting all the family to read the book and follow the 40/40/20 rule of carbs, protein and fibre etc but so far they are just saying give me the food:rotfl:whatever ratio it is in:rotfl:

Well I turn my back for a minute and what happens? Four new members - welcome Rosieposie, Me4bargains, Nm123, Mirnish and a proposal.

New people - if you wish to join in with the chart - a record of our losses, gains and STS (stay the sames) just post your amounts once a week. The chart is collated and posted on Wednesday evenings. Figures need to be bright, bold and big so that I don't miss them. Mirnish - you prefer not to weigh so will you just celebrate with us when your clothes feel looser?
Good luck with your weight loss journey. There are some real experts here to advise you and some strugglers and fallers by the wayside to empathise! (I'm a struggler, but I'm getting there)0 -
lo peeps! welcome all new types hope you like our thread. Had a FAB weekend at the battle of bosworth, had probably the most surreal experience of my life as a male history teacher was mincing around our camp fire in a little black dress and blonde ringlet wig singing lilli marlene. my mind is still boggling!
day one today and i think i've done okay. Haven't decided yet whether to fresh start or take the inevitable hit. opinions?
sorry you're feeling poorly BB, glad you had a nice day!0 -
Hi guys
not sure if you remember me. Started Cambridge diet a while back after on/off attempts on SW, lost loads and did really well until I began to feel ill, turns out I had an overactive thyroid. Medication is now stable (ish) so must get back on the diet wagon. Was planning to start SW tomorrow night, but realise I have 3 meals out/occasions in the next 6 days so me thinks I will wait until next Tuesday. New term (I'm a teacher) new start. Can I come back and join you all?
Anyone tried those new tablets Alli, do they increase weight loss?0 -
I like Jaffacakes - they are just under 50 cals each I think? They're very low in fat and good for an energy boost
Hope everyone's doing OK, this is just a quick post tonight. I've done the first of my new monthly weigh ins which (thanks to Granny's suggestion) instead of being every calendar month will now be after totm each month
It's a 0.2kg loss over the last 6 weeks. This is a really good result, as I'm on a reduced exercise plan this month and it's great to see I'm not gaining.
Best of luck this week everyone!0 -
Today I'm 145.0lbs, last week I was 146.8 I believe, so that's a 1.8lb loss.
Was absolutely evil today, lots of comfort food as I had a huge argument with an ex-boyfriend. He's a complete !!!!!. There are three of us ex's - Nicole, Megan and me. He's been messing with Nicole whilst going out with Tara - she's a new one. She doesn't know but Nicole does, but she doesn't care. Meanwhile, he's told Megan that he despises her and cannot stand to talk to her. They had an argument, and when they "made up" he said to her he'd try to tolerate talking to her again.
He has been a complete !!!!! to me, talking about drugs and sex and !!!! like that. So I spent three hours tonight telling him exactly what everyone thinks of him. Feel horrible but am glad I did it and didn't succumb to the threatening tears.
Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0 -
Morning:D up bright and early to...:rotfl:no, not get the kids off to school, no, not because I have a job to go to, no, not because I have such a busy day I can't fit it all in:rotfl: oh well will have to find things to do to justify this early rise:D
Went to London to the arthritic doc last night, 1 and a half hours running late she was, in there for I don't know maybe two mins and back home again:rolleyes: stay on the tablets nice to see you bye next:rolleyes:

1.5 Loss for me this week \o/
Got home from Germany yesterday, covered in mosquito bites, allergic reaction to them, and at this time look like quasimodo. One of the little blighters managed to get under my eyelid, which was a pain in the a$$ to say the least.Ofc it happened on Saturday night, when all the chemists were closed on the sunday, so had to wait til i got home which made matters worse. Anyhoo, got to doctors yesterday and got prescribed antihistamines, antibiotics and steroids. Swellings seem to have gone down a bit today. Can't remember what doc said about the steroids tho, i remember her saying to take 8 at oncebut after that i have no clue, so am off to call the pharmacist/doctor to see where to go next.
Great time was had by all in Germany (even the mosquitoes)
4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
