Morning:D making fish pie for dinner for them lot:D I have a fad on onions at the mo, so I dry fry them and have them practically burnt, love them, the smell, it came from being at my mums and she always does onions as the base but with glugs of olive oil, garlic, heaps of that and tomato paste, I have cut all that out and it is just dry fry onions, lovely:D

Can't find the scales! I'm going to declare a STS even though I don't really have a clue - clothes don't feel tighter, but I doubt I've lost anything this week with all the chapagne!

My weigh-in is a Friday, so going by last week's I was 9st 7lbs. I've been pretty rubbish since Friday with only a bike ride on Sunday as exercise. I will be off to swimming tonight though and hope to lose just a little or at worst STS (I like the lingo!) for this Friday... not sure it'll happen though... Spesh as it should be TOTM pretty soon (not too sure when as this is my first month off the pill, but I've been feeling a few twinges of period pain... pretty sure you all didn't need to know that!).
  • flying visit to report a sts please granny: this isn't good: I need to get at least 2lbs off but can't seem to find the energy to cut back. Ho hum. I know all the how too's but just can't find the oomph or the appetite at the mo.
Anyway, off to parent s for the day which always means a fatted calf:D.

Lodger came off his motorbike last night:eek:. Sent home patched up with various broken & fractured bones in upper torso. He's had to 'sleep' upright in a chair and looks dreadful. I'm about to drop him and his OH at A&E again as fracture clinic he was told to report to today haven't got an appointment for 2 weeks:eek:. I hate motorbikes. I personally know 5 men who've been killed on them and witnessed a fatal motorbike rta in 2000 and was 2nd on the scene - took a long time for what I saw to fade from instant recall.

Dinah - very beautiful ring. That will be fun received that - like doing it all over again:T
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • yowch bb that sounds serious. having a motorbike is the only thing my dad has ever forbidden me to do.
  • Reporting a loss of 0.8lbs this week. Which, considering the ice cream consumption this weekend, is pretty good. :rotfl:I'm inching closer to my target so it's all good.

Congrats Dinah. What a way to propse
