I have a question as well....
I just ordered Madasafish broadband last week. I ordered the 2091 wireless router while I was at it. However the free 210 router arrived, but not the 2091 router... I thought that due to ordering the wireless one, the free one wouldn't be sent out to me... Does anyone know is this the case? Do you get the free one regardless? Or have they made a mistake and sent me the wrong one?0 -
Can you tell me whether the MAAF broadband deal with the new wireless router is only available if you you have MAAF for line rental/calls. I only want to use them for broadband connection not for calls/line rental.
Thanks

Most believe that it is better to stay with BT for your line rental, giving you the choice to use other call carriers but the wireless router is available from MAAF here for £25. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Hi Guys,
Samara is on a well deserved holiday all of this week. I'll be looking at the forums in her absence. So please feel free to post any questions you might have, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks

Hi CelticStar,
You don't have to take the line rental in order to get the wireless router. The wireless router is available for £25 even if you sign up for broadband only.
Kind Regards,

Hi lowdenclear,
I do apologise for the incorrect hardware sent out to you. Someone at the warehouse obviously picked up the wrong order. This is just a case of human error. Can you please send me a PM with your username and I'll make sure the 2091 wireless router you intially ordered is sent out at the earliest.
Thanks

Hope someone could help me here.
I have set up WEP for the security purpose a while ago. My main PC and Wii access internet wirelessly fine. But when I tried to access internet on my Mac mini today, I can't. I put in the same and correct WEP password, but just can't. The Mac is just beside the Wii.
Can someone tell me why?
Hi ck2,
First thing to check is that on the router it does not have Mac filtering setup as if it does then you will need to add the Mac Address of the Mac Mini's wireless adapter to the allowed list. Next if it does not have this setup would be to temporarily turn of the WEP on the router so you have no wireless security and see if you can connect to the router on the Mac Mini if you can then turn the security back on re-enter the WEP security password in the router and try again on the Mac.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards

My 'phone line is indicated as supporting 4MB but since starting with MAAF my download speeds have varied between 1.67 to 3.6 all at "offpeak" times. I don't use the internet at peak times weekdays. I had over 3 yesterday for the 1st time and it's back down to under 2 this morning. Mostly it's been just over 2. Is this normal? My MAAF service started 29th March.0
