Bernard - That's to be expected as you're now using ADSL2+ rather than the standard ADSL service.
We're looking at doing this in line with the BT rollout later on this year.“Official Company Representative

Hello James_PN
I have been told if I want to keep the email alive to pay £20 a month for its Just mail service . Why so much if they provide a free email service when subscribing.
I still have an active email from onetel (Talk-Talk) and pay nothing for its use I have an active account (pay as you go) but I am never connected to it and make use of this email for nothing.
Why cant other ISPs do this.0 -
Hi Bernard.
It's actually £20 a year, but I'll be able to sort this out for free for you. What you have stated did use to be the policy, but now your account should automatically be downgraded to a free dialup one. Let me know if that hasn't happened and PM me your username and I'll sort it out for you.“Official Company Representative

I don't believe that we're enforcing the UIOLI (use it or lose it) policy currently.“Official Company Representative

If you can go for the faster speeds then I don't see why you shouldn't, especially if you're quite close to the exchange“Official Company Representative

What on earth is happening with madasafish e-mail ? almost everything I send gets returned to me claiming the brightview server is blacklisted. Not just hotmail/msn but also tiscali, yahoo, online.de etc. My next door neighbour is with madasafdish too (thanks to me ) and she couldn't even access her e-mail yesterday to get any messages (it's back today)0

This is the message I get back with all the mail (obviously yahoo if it's yahoo, tiscali if it's tiscali etc). I've asterisked out the e-mail addresses.
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

I got a problem with my Madasafish connection in as much as there now is no connection. Internet light on my Netgear router has gone out. Tried different router, still the same problem. Took facia off front of BT phone point & plugged into main port but still the same problem. Changed splitter etc etc still the problem.
Madasafish then did test on my line & got this message on my account: We have completed testing of your broadband service, the results indicate a potential fault with the BT network or service equipment. We will continue to investigate, and will provide an update as soon as possible. Please note that it may take 48 hours for BT to provide us with more information.
This was on Thursday & still no word. My account now reads:
"Assigning to the correct pool" whatever the hell that means.
I have a 5GB limit on my account & have gone over this month. As soon as I hit 6GB my connection dropped, like I had been cut off. I asked them if they cut people off & they denied they do. It just seemed strange to me.
I have now had no service since last Wednesday. Anyone else experienced this type of fault?0 -

I was away on holiday last week but had problems on my return on Saturday. The 'i' light on my Netgear router is flashing amber. I do get a solid green now and again after rebooting the router.
Have pm'd James but I think he may be on holiday.
I am alson on the 5GB package but as usual have only used about 2GB for the month.0
