Anyone else having problems sending e-mails with maaf??
Hi Reubo,
Can I ask what error message you are currently receiving? There aren't currently any issues that I am aware of for outgoing email.“Official Company Representative

Hi Duncan,
Can I ask if you are still experiencing this problem after clearing your temporary internet files within Firefox?
Please bear in mind that this will also result in saved passwords being removed, so if you have some saved passwords that you can't remember for some websites, that probably isn't a great idea.“Official Company Representative

Passwords aren't usually lost when clearing temp. internet files?
(My temp. net files get cleared automatically, and the saved passwords are still operating next time I visit a password protected site.)0 -
In which case, Quentin, I bow down to your superior technical knowledge and hang my head in shame.“Official Company Representative

No need for such "humility".
I'm not questioning your tech. knowledge at all - just pointing out that clearing the temporary internet files at this end doesn't affect passwords being stored.

I know you weren't Quentin and I appreciate the pointer

I am actually really worried about MAAF.
I signed up on Monday for the phone service. Basically, i have just moved into my new flat and there is no telephone line. I phoned BT and they said a new line needed to be installed - i declinded the offer from them.
So i thought i would get MAAF to get a line put in as i know they can do this. So i applied online and the next day the called me and told me there were two lines in the property (BT said different) and that one was working and the other seized. The guy placed an order on the cancelled line and said we would be connected today.
The problem i have is that i live in a very difficult flat as all the addresses around us are sperated by a letter and the flat i live in is also associated with co-op - they are called the same address as us online but they are actually D. So this has made me think thatmaybe MAAF has got the properties confused.
SO when it comes to later today and the line working - i dont think it is going to work at my property to i will be paying for a line and service they have not supplied to me. No one as MAAF understands what i mean and still think eveything will be ok but i fear otherwise. The telephone number they gave me for my line was not working yesterday but today it rings but i still get NO dial tone from any of the sockets in my apartment - even though i should have two lines apparently????
They told me the exchange transfer is not complete and it will work tonight but i do not hold out hope and what if it does not work - what do i do?
Also, i wasnever told if i need to pay the 115 new line charge - i really hope not because a new line has not been put in!!!! And this is what i wanted!!!
Any help would be great,
Thanks,
Daniel0
