I'm debating whether to leave madasafish, mainly because I want a higher usage allowance. Please see http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=859805
I would welcome any comments, particularly on whether, if I leave madasafish mid-month (ie giving my month's notice now), I'll be charged for the full month of May.

Their contract says you just have to give them 28 days notice:

Unless otherwise specified in this Agreement, either you or we may terminate this Agreement on giving not less than 28 days notice to the other; such notice not to expire before the end of the Minimum Period.

So if you give notice now you would have part of May to pay for.

The contract ts + cs are binding on both parties. James_PN cannot alter them!

Nope, I can't alter contractual terms. But if you were to give notice, you should be refunded for any payments that you have made that cover dates outside those 28 days.

just a warning, i used madasafish and have just left them, id also recommended them to a couple of friends who are leaving them. We all found their customer service (based in india) to be very unhelpful. They have a habit of adding odd charges and even though one friend left months ago they are still being charged for the service. As for getting away from them, sheesh!

They're actually based in South Africa.

They're not known for adding random charges, but if you want to highlight specific examples to me I'd be more than happy to help out.

Anyone else having problems sending e-mails with maaf??
I can receive them no probs but when it comes to sending I get a messsage telling me the server cannot be found.....not had this before, I am not going to waste money on calling their tech people, I have done enough of that in the past, I was just wondering if anyone else has been having the same problem..
