Hi James thanks so much for sorting out my new 12 month contract however I now have a new problem and have no internet at all at home.(i'm in work) I rang cust serv yday for 1/2 an hour spoke to both tech support and cust serv but to no avail, not sure what is happening. I've previously posted on a separate thread but received no replies
so thought someone here may have some suggestions as its now driving me barmy ,
Basically EVERY time i connect to the internet I get an error message of "internet connection not found work off-line / try again " and on some days it takes 4 or 5 "try agains" before im connected. Im also getting kicked off at least once a day and need to re-start my pc before it lets me back on.
Im fairly new to MAAF (4 weeks ish ??) but its getting no better and on some days my speed is only registering as 2.45 mb
any suggestions ??

Hi Bump,
Looking into your line is suggesting that your modem or router is unable to gain synchronisation (a signal) with your BT Exchange. Now, if your modem or router is currently switched off, then this is what I would expect to see. However, if it is not, then you have a problem!
I'd initially suggest that you make sure that your modem/router is connecting directly into your master socket via a filter. I would also try changing your microfilter and making sure that all of your active telephone sockets have a filter on.
If it is at all possible to try borrowing a modem or router of a friend to test your connection to see if it is your router at fault, then that would also be really handy.

sorry modem was off just called mum in law to put it back on. internet light still not on. somebody was looking at it earlier in week when i rang and said something about cease on the line but i have not transferred to any other provider and as you know also have my phone services with yourselves.

However, it is also showing an instance of a failed login due to an incorrect password. Would you mind trying to completely delete the password in the password field and reenter it and then try reconnecting again?“Official Company Representative

ok i'll try when i get home is that in the router screen? if i have changed my password inadvertently how do i reset it?0
