Well up to today i had nothing but praise for madasafish. But today i log on to the site and it looks nothing like it has done in the past.Full of boxes to the left hand side with small crosses in.It does show my details lower down but when i click on the link it says my session has timed out and wants me to log in again, when the same happens.

I have emailed them and i am not really getting anywhere. They suggest i reset my browser but i am loathe to start messing with things i don't understand as i have wrecked stuff in the past like that!! Is anyone else experiencing this? it is very annoying!!

I had this problem a few weeks ago after the website upgrade. Within a day of posting the problem on here it was fixed. I'm sure Samara had something to do with it :T

Good luck and best wishes by the way Samara. Excellent customer service.

Twice in the last month my MAAF account has been "put on hold" due to a failed direct debit.

My details are correct on the account section of MAAF and my bank says that the DD is still set up correctly and active at their end.

    Why is this happening ???

I joined the old Freenetname company back in 1999, and have been a mostly happy customer ever since then.

Samara has given excellent Customer Service when needed and has always managed to arrange a good renewal deal.

This latest fiasco is really annoying me, I am having to make all of the phone calls to the 0844 number, and keep getting told to pay by Credit Card until they look into it - NO, sort it out properly !

As I explained to the CS Team last night, all was ok for the last 9.5 years until BT & Plusnet got involved.

Hopefully Samara can sort it out before she goes, I dread to think what will happen if she doesn't.

I will certainly be thinking very carefully come renewal time this year......

Where did you say you were going Samara ????
We might start following you !!!

Just checked and the problem is still there.Hopefully James will be around later to help as promised.

It does seem strange and a worry that Samara is going, just as we are all encountering more problems.

Dunno why it is happening but the exact same thing has happened to me (the last time I was told it was a system error.....yeah right!)

I've been with MAAF for less than a month, I'm in the process of cancelling my account and Samara has kindly agreed to waive the cancellation fee

    Hi Froglet,

Sorry I didn't reply to you yesterday, I'd gone home for the day :)

    In Internet Explorer:

    - Goto the tools menu
    - Choose Internet Options
    - Select the General Tab (which should open by default)
    - Click on "Delete" under "Browsing History"
    - Delete the Temporary Files and Cookies
    - Close and restart Internet Explorer

Hopefully this should do the trick!

Welcome to MSE, hopefully you will be able to give all of us the same excellent level of support that we received from Samara.

As previously stated that is a big factor in retaining loyal customers.

I have sent you a PM with the details you need.

The problem is you deleted all your cookies. When you do that then you have found out the consequences!

A better plan for others trying this fix and not wanting to have this annoyance would be to first try all the instructions except deleting cookies.

If it has worked, no need to delete them, and if it hasn't you can delete them manually, keeping the ones you want to.
