This means my 12mths free line rental started from day one, and not when Simplify Digital sorted it several months later, so I can leave (or haggle) at the end of the original 12mth period.
Last weekend filled my Sky+HD memory with films using the free weekend pass for Screen1HD. Nice one MSE.:beer:0 -
Any deals like that about at the moment?0

Depends I suppose if you are a new or an existing sky customer.
If you are a new customer, their website states free hd+ box when you take out sky movies for 1 year. Cost of installation is £30. Cost of subscription is £36 minimum. Plus you get £50 M&S vouchers.
Or just a sky+ box for free, £30 standard installation, subscription from £18 a month, plus £50 M&S vouchers.
As an existing customer I have just got a free sky plus HD box because I am subscribing to multi-room for my daughters for Christmas, although I do have to pay £30 installation. Its a bargain if you ask me, but I think that they take lots of things into consideration when they offer you freebies, like what subscription you are on an how long you have been a customer etc... best thing would be to give them a ring.Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

If you are in certain digital switchover areas you can get the 'free' HD box without also paying for movies for a year. i.e the minimum cost is only £30 plus 12x £28 (or 12x £18 for Sky+ box).
This offer is only available within the Wales, Granada, STV North and West transmitter areas.

I think you may also be still able to get reduced multiroom subscription in these areas. That offer was half price on condition you do not have any premium channels, altough Sky seem to have stopped actively promoting this.0 -
does this exist i've searched high and low? or is there anywhere else that will give you the HD pack free for a year? I take it that after that year you can cancel the HD pack and use it as normal sky+ if you chose to?0

My latest deal. New customer:
For Sky Plus, not Sky HD
Free Installation (recommend a friend)
£35 for all movies, or £15.50 basic
£50 vouchers for recommend a friend
£50 vouchers for me (offer to new customers)
Don't forget to go through Quidco - £65 referral cash back (I don't think you could get both M&S vouchers if you buy online?).I love surprises!0 -
but what about the sky hd without the line rental for hd, as quoted here, has anybody any idea if this deal exists?!
I am getting the HD+ box and I have been told that I do not have to take out the HD subscription, but it might be better to give them a ring and see what they can offer you.Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

i think i'm pretty sure they said i couldn't have it for free if i didnt take out the hd pack and movies, are you paying for it then?0 -
Hi
I have been with Sky for about three years and am looking to do a bit of haggling. What do you think the chances are of getting free/reduced price multiroom if I came out with the 'I'm thinking of cancelling Sky' line
Cheers

Our Sky is currently under my father's name. We have Variety and kids package. We would like the Sky+ box but saw on the Sky website that the box is only free to new customers. Can my father cancel his Sky and I sign up for it instead? Or can my father complain saying he's been a loyal customer and he's not entitled to this offer?0
