Well I am awake, have the laptop up in the bedroom, where it is warmest. DGD is playing beside me, tunneling under the covers, its her tent.
We had a few ups and downs in the night. Both of us were awake a few times, the weather was dodgy and the electric cut out a few times.
My head was full of all the mess that we are in, and I had the weirdest of dreams.
I wake today with a heavy heart, but at least I know that I have looked at it all from every angle that I could possibly do. The conclusions with all the objective input too, is that I have made the right decision.

Got to re locate, DGD need the bathroom.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Mooloo I just wanted to send you my best wishes and as much positive energy as my sinus infection will let me muster. I really think that you are doing the right thing by everyone and most of all your grandchildren. The ones here and the one to come. I hope that everything goes ok with Twin2 and this family leaving today and I think that you are best out of it. Hopefully DS will see sense and realise just how bad this family is and break off contact with them.
Take care of yourself and DGD please. Concentrate on your futures, ones that will hopefully be full of joy and laughter and security. xxx

full of joy and laughter and security.

Thats all I can ask for anyone in life. Even the family from hell.

I am rathe tired and jaded this morning. Which is understandable. I shall be going to see my Parents when I drop DGD at Stay and Play. Twin1 will have to have her place tidied up if she is to have DGD any longer.

I am off to Oxford later. I need a real hug at the moment.

    Thanks x

New Social Worker named for the fostering team. So a meet will be in the near future no doubt. Apparantly she has a trainee with her who will be doing my case as its suposed to be an easy one.
Other Social Worker has got back to me, has a cheque for DGD's passport for me, and said that they are not disputing my fuel bills, or the entitlement to it, but have a problem as they go back over last tax year. So they will have to get back to me in one to two weeks.
That as DGD is looked after as a foster child and not a section 17, then they cannot help with the move etc etc.
But if they refund the fuel costs then it will cover the move costs. So I have replied to his email with that effect.

There is a charity up here that does furniture, for a donation, and finally we have managed to talk to each other. (kept getting answer machine messages). They are happy to help me with some wardrobes, rugs and curtains. As long as I cover their costs of them coming out so far. That they can help me the Wednesday after I give them the confirmation date.). I dont get to see what it is they choose, but as its greatfully recieved and will tide me over until we can afford new, I shall not complain.

apparantly the family from hell went back for their daughters stuff this morning, and she wiped out the contents of twin2's freezer saying it was food they had bought. Some friends, leaving them with no food. I have told her that I am not happy with her. THat I think that she needs to grow up and get sorted out. But of course I get Yes Mummy. Then she will have forgotten this by the time she has put the phone down.

I took DGD to her mum for Play and Stay, but had to collect her early as they didnt want her coughing all over the place incase she was sick. Which is understandable,
I went to my parents and actually stayed there a lot longer then I was expecting too, and had lunch. Took DGD back there as they wanted to see her and see if she was OK in thier eyes.
I came away with a bag of tinned food and another flask! Dad had gone to buy his baked beans and they were on buy one get 2 free. He thought it meant the second one free so picked up two packs. the lady at the till told him it was get 2 free so he went back for the others. So I now have 8 tins of baked beans!! Plus some other bits and pieces that I havent bothered to check yet as I couldnt lift the bag in from the car.
I am waiting for my Approved Food order to arrive. Between 3.39 and 4.39. Then I am off to Oxford. hummed and haad about it, but at least there is central heating ad BF's and an upstairs and downstairs loo. So she will be just as comfortable there as here, and I will have some respite. Even if its just to go to the loo without a Granny where are you going, or following me all the time.

I am tired and have been all day. Mum and I both hate the dark days like today, and I have had to put the lights on. Mum even had made dad open the venician blinds up to the top, and the lights on!
I have packed a couple of overnight bags and some coats and stuff, but I cannot find DGD's wellingtonboots anywhere at all? I think I am going mad.
Wonder if DS put them somewhere from the car when he cleaned it during the week?

I have dropped off his phone charger and told him to not go near the twins while he is with the family from hells son. That I am not best pleased with any of them at the moment.

I am just aching now to get this move underway. Not becuase I want to leave the cottage, but becuase I want that fresh start, and something to do like making a lovely home for DGD, and getting her a safe place to play etc. I have organised as much as I can now, from the phone lines, the removals provisionally booked, the carpets cleaning quote coming in.
Now all I am waiting for is the nod from the Housing that I can go in and measure up, and then I can sort out some carpets. I have seen quite a snazzy stripey carpet thats autumnal colours that is cheap and chearful, and would do for the front room, at an amazingly low price of £4.00pr sq yard. If they still have it in stock of course.
My sofa is mint green so that should be OK. I dont have any idea of the size of windows for the new house, but most of my curtains will fit the bedrooms etc I would think. But I may have to get the sewing machine out for the front room. I feel frustrated that I cannot start to make any while I wait for the move. But thats just as I need to keep myself occupied now.
I have a feeling DGD will fall asleep in the drive down to Oxford.
I got the days wrong for the bonfire night, its tomorrow. So lets hope the weather is better as its teaming down with rain here.

Will they accept a provisional order with a guesstimate of room sizes? We had a carpet on order for AGES while we got round to doing some painting!
Signature removed for peace of mind

Have you reported these threats by 'family from hell' to the authorities ?
