Hope DGD starts to feel better soon, she's too little yet to understand her cold will soon be over, and best wishes for the dentist tomorrow,.
DS conned you? There's a surprise. It sounds like he's been conning you all day today by not sorting his room out and then getting you to go out for fags for him. Man up mate
Think you might be right. (maybe I am a bit worried that he is already about to leave home, and I dont want to loose my temper any more, we are so close to getting the house) I hope that the new house will open up doors to him, to other people and too be able to be independant again. Well more so, with travel, and going to the shops etc etc.
DGD is in bed, a bit of resistance, but not too bad.
DS has one good thing going for him, he has healing hands!
He has sat for 20 minutes conducting the heat out of my shoulder and neck. I can move my head better then I have been able to do since the accupuncture 3 weeks ago! The pain level has dropped dramatically and I can now lift my arm a lot higher. Pity he isnt around to help like that more often.
Wish he would find out how to channel these "powers" for good.
You might think that I am mad, but it helps.
Time for me to get the kettle ready and a night cap. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Why not suggest he lloks into a Reiki or massage course? Maybe he would meet more suitable friends through something like this, too? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Thank you very much for all your kind wishes and hugs - they have made me feel very special and much appreciated xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

I shall try and catch up with Molly tomorrow. We are always intouch via email, or PM's. Try and see each other at least once a week. I shall look forward to seeing her more often when I get to the new house. She can come for a cuppa when she goes to the doctors as its across the road!!
DGD has gone to Nursery, but was reluctant.
She kept me up and down a bit in the night, then again so did my bladder!! Thank god for the commode.
Was up at 5.50 this morning. Left the house at 7.00 to get DS to the bus stop, so DGD and I had a break at costalotta! £5 to while away 35 minutes!
Bumped into twin 2. She said that the girl is still hastleing her.
I said "let her come in, go and look for her stuff, tell her she has 10 minutes, and then ask her to leave a list of anything else, and that you will have a look for it. Be polite, and dont lower yourself to her standards"
If she comes again, tell her that she had 3 chances now to get her things, and that was plenty, and to now stay away and let you get on with your life".
We will see.
The Social Worker is due to visit her in the house on Wednesday. So that will be interesting. I hope the house is tidy. It wasnt that good last i looked on Thursday.
Fingers crossed for her. I think though that this is probably where they actually get around to telling her that they are doing that Twintracking as they havent mentioned it to her yet.
I am off to the dentist soon. Yuk. sorry any dentists, but I am going to have to have a tooth out, and i am scared if the truth be told!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I hope so too. Have to see how we are both in the morning.
I am a bit rough at the moment, going around MK with my parents this afternoon was a bit much in the end.
I am off to bed now.
Didnt like the dentist but it wasnt as bad as I thought, just that it hurts my neck having my head at the angle needed and the like.
Left arm is terrible at the moment, so I am going to do my best to rest now. So no more typing!.

Morning all,
Its a better looking day out there, but by its cold. I was up at 5.50am to get my medications and then wake DS and Twin1.Followed about 20 mins later with DGD! Who didnt want to be woken.
Twin1 came to stop over last night, and did DGD's bath and story for me, and then she helped get her up this morning. But i have done the breakfast for us when we got back from taking them to the bus stop for College.
It is good that she is going to college and keeping it up, but she is still struggling with her money. Now I hear she had a budgeting loan, and will have to repay it at £5 a week. But I dont know how much she borrowed. But not enough to clear her debts off, or have anything left in hand, so it mustnt have been very much. Alas her house was again a mess! How she manages to make it so bad is beyond me. The floor is disgusting as was the kitchen!
She even had a saucepan on the floor of the front room that was growing mould. She said, Oh i didnt know that was there! I am not surprised, you couldnt see the floor for matches, cigeratte ends, cottonbuds, pencil sharpenings, and snack packets! It looked like someone had upended a black sack of rubbish and rubbed it in!!
Today the Estate agents are sending someone to view the cottage, and its not brilliant. Having them around is supposed to help, but alas no it didnt help, and its given me a bit more work.
Biggest of Mooloo came over for a cuppa and to sign some paperwork, and I was able to tell twin1 that she was expecting. (Biggest not twin!).
So we can now talk about the baby. She has a scan on Tuesday. She was hungry so had a bowl of cherios! Told DS to step up to the plate, and also told twin2. She tried to explain that if I am entitled to carers help in the home that they must realise that I could be eligeable to live in residential care, (Not quite but she was trying to get through to tthem that Mum was stubborn, doing too much, and really was needing help.).
I was not thrilled at thinking that if I cannot care for myself/DGD properly these things would be in my near future rather then the distant image of old age! EEK. But she seemed to get Twin1's attention. (for a day anyway).
But the promise of doing the washing up last night did not come to fruition alas!.
I am just going to see if I can get myself organised to do the housework, in bite sizes, but enough not to feel so embarrassed when strangers come a calling!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Don't worry Mooloo, when I was a student the landlord used to send people to look round our flat without warning us, first I knew of it was when about 10 students walked into my bedroom where a pair of my dirty pants were on the floor! Oh the shame! (Thank god I was at least fully clothed though!)0
