How were the boys, do they seem settled?

It was good to see the boys, they are looking well. Seem happy enough. The foster mother/father seem to be very nice people, which is not surprising. The baby isnt sleeping the night through yet she said, and DGS1 is quite a handful still, but she said he is improving, and although his speach is not as good as DGD by a long chalk, he is talking more. So hopefully he will continue to progress. It is just heart breaking to leave them, and I suppose its a matter of time before we find out their fate! Which I dread, as I fear they will be put up for adoption the way thier SW is!.

    I cannot dwell on it.

My Mum and Dad are in fine form. Been to see them this morning, and come home with more stuff that I can utilise in my sewing! If I get the time. I am going to have to really organise my things now, something to try to do tonight/tomorrow morning before the stall.
Also some of her lovely cards and boxes. See if they will sell, and or at least they will fill up the spaces! Make the stall look attractive!.

DGD messed me about this morning and stood in puddles as soon as I had her dressed to go out. (Our drive is a landrover rutted thing that fills with puddles every time it rains).

Where have all the clean socks gone? Only got the odd ones? Sock monster nevermind sock monkeys people are making !!;)

I have been on holidays and haven't been online for much of the last four weeks or so but I was wondering can I ask where Biggest of Mooloo is going? Does this mean that you will have DGD every weekend?

I hope you enjoy your much deserved holiday!

Given their ages this is a very real likelihood, unless there is some possibility of them returning home or being cared for by family.
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

Well is was not a craft fair, its just the local villagers market where we can sell our surplus garden produce, eggs, etc and local beef, honey, etc etc I am the only craft one.

I only sold the Butterfly bag this time. But have an order for some cushions if they supply the shirts so not much.

Biggest of Mooloo's is going to stay at her BF's family. So having DGD will be less but they will try and work it out.
Until they get the next place. Probably after christmas.

I have spent a lot of the weekend looking at places to stay for our holiday, but BF cannot make up his mind what type of holiday we are to have, s/c, half board or Allinclusive. Originally I wanted an Allinclusive, as I wanted a complete rest from cooking etc but he was not so keen on the costs, as DGD would not eat/drink that much etc. Then my frugal life style did make me think that if we S/C then we can have more money in our pockets to spend. (Or to save for a different occasion).
Anyway, I have finally given him 5 options to look at, and will let him make up his mind!. My brain is aldled with looking at the comparisons!.

We took DGD to a park in Brackley yesterday, (his idea), and he was brilliant playing with DGD! Then we walked up and down the town, (which wore me out a bit, especially as is on hill).
We are eating the potatoes, carrots and courgettes out of my garden, and I am simmering some beetroots, with the thought of pickling it. I am looking forward to saving the beetroot water, and having a go at using it to "dye" some fabrics, for fun. (need to find out what I can use for a fixing agent, think its salt, cannot remember. Been about 35 years since I ever did that.

I havent heard from any of the kids this weekend, except Biggest of Mooloo when she brought DGD home yesterday morning. She was off to do more packing.
I am tired today, late nights that I am not used to having.
I have been having problems with my tummy, due to my medication reacting which is ruining things a bit, but I will have to pop to the doctors and see if there is anythingelse that I can do to counter act it.

DGD and I are going to visit my parents in a little while, I shall take some produce from the garden with me.

The Occupational therapist? is coming to see me on Wednesday. See how things are going. The board in the bathroom has made a difference when I shower, (except where the curtain goes), and the rails are still to arrive. I suppose that my landlord is sitting on giving permission to go ahead.

Right I have a few craft blogs to read to inspire me.

We are off to Portugal at the end of sept. For 8 nights. Flights are booked, hire car is also booked.
Its the accommodation that still needs to be sorted out.

Today DGD is in Nursery, and its paperwork day!
The washing is on the line, well half of it.
Better get the paperwork done, then I can enjoy the rest of the day!. Doing more things that I like to do!.:D
