Hello Hester, thats a lovely thing to say. Thanks.
I may just try and take you up on that one of these days. somewhere to go, that I can just switch off from all the stress would be brilliant. And someone who sews too, so I would have something in common other then MSE,. Do you have Wifi!! We could both be on MSE at the same time!

I went over to my Parents, and sat out in the garden. DGD played digging with a trowel and a bucket. She made us all laugh.
do you know that is something I have struggled to remember really doing in a while. Smiling at something, but actually relaxed enough to laugh, its been a while!.
Anyway it was a good hour and a bit away from the cottage. Ive come back now, and raided the freezer for some sausages and some roasting potatoes. Didnt fancy the gammon joint again, as we had it in our sandwiches at lunchtime.
There are a lot of wierd bits and bobs in the freezer, so I will be raiding the Frugal challenge for some storecupboard ideas etc. To see if I can get through to the end of the month, except for Milk, fruit and veg.
the side of the shopping that i will need to do, is Nappies, babywipes and those sort of things, and toothepaste as DGD has squeezed her blue one all over the place!.

My Mum seemed to really like the bag I made her, she was impressed with the idea of changing her bag with her outfits for the day!.

She gave me some flowers to use on other bags etc. So my distractions are going to be sewing as well as getting out and about.
I would have liked to have done stuff in the garden, but its just not child safe with the road that goes through the village. I will have to do that when DGD is with Biggest of Mooloo's (If I dont go to see Hester!).

Ah but Hester thats me going to meet people off of the internet, and thats why DBF and I split yesterday! Oh dear, I really am breaking out and being wild!

Make a game of it, put her in her reins and tie a length of rope to them tied to something that won't move. We used to do this with my Houdini nephew, who also seemed to have the knack of dematerialising ! Give her a trowel and bucket and her own patch of mud and she should be able to entertain herself and be safe for the odd half hour.

    Now dont be naughty.......
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Swapping sewing tips? or drinking a glass of wine might be riotous! I could start to be a rebel one day? Seen the kids do it? Perhaps not.
I need calm, and rest, time to rejuvinate my batteries!.
I used to go to Portugal for that, but alas the funds are not that brilliant to do that.
I ought to think about using the Travel Lodges and see if I could get a break that way.? I have a little gas camping stove, perhaps i could break all rules and cook my own??

Hi Molly, was your venture out good?
I enjoyed sitting in parents garden. Pity they are off next week for a couple of weeks, i will miss them, they really have been a help these last few weeks since they got back from france in January.

I am looking forward to catching up with the village coffee shop on Tuesday.

I am going to do my self a list of to do things, practical and silly, to keep me busy I think.!

    Hi Mooloo,
Unfortunately I did not get out and about as feeling really tired. I think thats a really good idea to compile a list. It will be nice to catch up on Tuesdayx

Well there will be the usual stuff,

Catch up on the spring cleaning stuff.
Like clean the windows and the skirting boards,
    wipe off DGD finger marks.
But then I will do the other things like taking time out for a hot soak in the tub.
    To having a hair cut
    To making christimas cards!

But I need to find things that I want to do, and would fancy doing.
And of course get the family to stop wanting my attention 24/7!! could be a bit of a tall order that one.

You might find B&B's cheaper than a Travel Lodge, and you certainly deserve a break to refresh and recharge. Could Biggest take a week's holiday and have DGD for a week ? Might be a good way for her to experience what it's like to have her for more than a couple of days.
