That nice vicar could refer you to the Vicar's Relief Fund I mentioned earlier. Please don't be embarrased to ask him if there is still stuff you need in this ongoing crisis!

Hello, its been a long day!.
I collected Twin1 yesterday afternoon, then went to search for DS.As predicted he was at said Mates house. I was just giving him a rollerking, and his Dad also turned up in his work van, breathing fire!. So he got it from him too!. I brought him home in the car. No excuses to not go to work, today> as I took him, and collected him this afternoon.!
Today has been a busy one.
Twin1 and I took DGD to the Mums and Tots group Christmas Party. It was very busy, but there was certainly plenty of food, after the play, and the singing.
I decided to stay in the main room and "rest" but DGD didnt want to stay in the other room, so her and Mum played Playdough!. (Meant they also got the first lot of food!).
The Vicar came over and asked how I was, and just gave me a few minutes of his time. Twin1 was welcomed by them too. But they could see that she does need prompting to do things with DGD!.

She wanted to go back home this afternoon, so I was just on my way to take her back, when twin2 rang. She had had her antinatal check, and the doctor thought that she was breech, and so sent her to Banbury hospital. So I had to double back the other way!. Take her to the hospital. Where the Midwife said she was not far enough on at 36 weeks to have a scan etc, as baby could still do"somersaults" yet. So we had a "wasted journey" and no scan.
So had to drop her back at her place, and then go back the otherway again to collect DS form Work!.
I am exhuasted. Luckily DGD is tired and so has gone to bed without much of a protest. I think I will be going up myself quite soon!.
There was a message on the answer machine from the Social Worker. They have talked to the Westwood House referral team, and they are now saying that they will do the assessment of Twin1, in FEBRUARY!. So my three weeks, that were up today, are now Three months!.
I have rung twin1 to tell her, and she didnt seem to be surprised, or much upset. I have told her that she needs to be with DGD more, not less, and that we must get a better routine. Yesterday when I collected her I was expecting her to stay until Tomorrow. Then she changed her mind this morning. Mind you sleeping on a reclyning chair in the front room where everyone has to walk past to go to the bathroom cant be much fun!.
But I am worried that she is already giving up hope on her having her daughter back. She was talking about getting her driving license and maybe getting a job? I said she needs to be with her daughter more not less!. I will have to get her keyworker to chat to her I think!.

Savvy Sue, I will see if I can get the Vicar to look into that Charity. Thanks.

My next delivery of logs is now going to be tomorrow afternoon at 2pm. So I will have my work cut out for me moving it all over again!. Last time my BF arrived half way through my moving it and helped. But that was a weekend.!.
I will have to ask them to drop it on the other side of the drive, which will take me longer to move it, but they blocked the neighbours drive last time!.

Be an expensive day tomorrow as I also need fuel in the car again!. Red light came on on the way home!. Done 350 miles since last Tuesday!.

Fire has gone out, and I am too tired to start trying to light it, so I am going to close up and go to bed!. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day!.

Mooloo, has the SW sorted out any money for you yet? Or even the cot & stair gate?

No, Floss, I had £20 in the end of the first week, and nothing since. (For Petrol). She said she had a stairgate but thats not appeared. I was out taking twin2 to the hospital when she left a message on the answer phone saying it will be Feb before twin1's assessment. So I will be calling the office around 10am this morning. Any earlier and she is never there!.
I have been trying to fill in a Social Fund community care grant. But I need to find what I did with the agreement she gave us, to send off as evidence.!

Twin1 has given me £50 dispite having to pay back £19.50 a fortnight on overpaid benefits, Disability premium they say she was not entitled too. (Well we all say differently, but DLA stopped so that should have stopped and didnt!).

That money is going on a logs delivery £55 today.

Pleased your DD gave you some money and that the other twins baby may have time to turn, you really don't need any more problems. I assume twin 2 is coping ok with your grandson and the prospect of a new baby are they still in the hostel place?

My DS had his official diagnosis yesterday ADD, dyslexia and mild dyspraxia came home with medication and know its the right thing to do but got upset at the thought of giving him it (especially after reading the side effects) . i think i am more worried about the "LABEL" he has been given but the paedaetrician says its good that he was diagnosed early before he developed behavioural problems too and if we can get him through school he should have a perfectly "normal" life.

Lost my post again? Reckon if I do a long post it just biffs me off!. Shaz the twins have ADHD< dyslexia, dyspraxia and mild autism. They were on Ritalin for several years. I have a few books about the subject if you want to have them, I will post them to you.
    Hang on in there.

Having a few communication problelms with my BF at the moment. Today has now been cancelled. I got the impression last night when I rang him that he had cancelled shopping today. But apparantly it was only the Ikea bit!. Dam. So I have messed it up with having the logs delivered today. I have tried to cancel the delivery, or get it re-arranged, but too late to go shopping with BF.Now I dont think he is coming as he is angry with me for letting him down.
I have just too much onmy plate to deal with things at the moment.
Sometimes wonder if we really are singing from the same hymn sheet!. Days like today, I really feel that its a pointless exercise. I may love him, but my family just get in the way of things. He has a completely different slant on the things I do.!
But I wonder what he would do in the same position as me.

Re twin2, I amnot sure what she is thinking about having the baby while still in the hostel, but it isthere own fault that they have got behind on the rent, and so lost the opportunity to be considered for the house that came up!. I am still angry with them for that. Now not sure if they are coming for Christmas or not.? There is a party going on in the hostel that night, so they want to be there for that. Hopefully I will find out on Friday when I take their washing back to them!. (more expense!)

Trying to get DGD to have a sleep, as she is a bit grotty. Waiting in for the wood delivery at 2pm. THen will have to don our wellies and get it moved into the shed while the weather is on our side.! Have got to go out to get stamps to send off my Rent cheque or I will have nothing in the bank to pay it. Had hoped that I could have done that this morning but it was all caught up in telephone calls.
Think I will just see if I can shut my eyes for a bit too!. Try and stop the stress factor.
BF not answering any of my texts so not sure if he will still come this evening or not.
