  • Been reading through, just love it, thought I was the only person to have a problem with teenagers in the house. Just manage to have a quicky in front of question time on tv and a pull yourself together mode when they all come home about 11.pm

Nobody every says anything, otherwise it would draw attention to their shenanigans!

Carry on Chipstick, your doing great, I personally would not even get into a conversation with my 15 year old daughter about anything....you have dealt with it just great, we would do the comic/humourous slap on thigh stuff as well..

Carry on everybody, its a great post

    ;)

S!!!!horpe - the seaside town - as you can see, is the same.

Chipstick - does your DD know she's helping you and DH re-live your youth - she'd be mortified.. making out in the backs of cars - well doesn't that make you feel young again!! (i was in my twenties before I got round to that, but we still have fond memories - sadly the car won't fit in our garage, and I think the neighbours would be shocked at leaving the car on the drive and re-enacting past adventures!:rotfl:)

Must be best thread ever!! I got up one night when I was about 10 as heard noises coming from living room. Walked in to find my naked mother straddling my naked father on the sofa. I screamed and burst into tears. My mum got such a fright she jumped up (or off I should say) and did a belly flop onto the beanbag which was on the living room floor. The beanbag exploded and I ran back to my room in a right state. My mother was still sheepishly hoovering up the beans in the morning when i ventured down for breakfast! My dad never mentioned it again. Can laugh about it now but remember being very traumatised at the time. This thread has to be the best ever.

Paradise by the dashboard light is fine in an American car when there's no gearknob in the way....or maybe I should call it a gearstick.:rotfl:

Sunshine 12, I pity your poor mother - those little beads go everywhere, it must have taken her weeks to find them all!!
