    MSE time - don't throw away the old suitcase that's a bit too big to squeeze in as carry-on luggage without being charged for,just keep it under the bed with your most private possessions in it;), it already has a zip and a place to padlock it and many people store their empty suitcases under their bed, so it doesn't look out of place should a nosy visitor notice it...

    If any little kids asked why it's locked up tell them it's in case the cat tries to get in it and go to sleep.:shhh:

    Hmm someone I worked with once said they'd tried everything to stop their little ones getting in the bedroom at night...until one day they tried this on the door handles :eek:

    Lol, my daughter (3yrs) hangs on the handle to open it (and just to be a pain - she hangs on everything swinging her feet in the air) so i just got visions of her continuously slipping off and landing on the floor all confused, trust me she wouldn't give up but do it over and over again. So if i ever do this i will be busy videoing it and sending it to You've Been Framed, not actually getting 'busy' as would have been the intention in the first place:rotfl::D

  • Mega:eek: :eek: :eek:- i think that has to be my biggest fear. You can catch me at it and yes i'd be embarrassed but hey it's life - if the in-laws ever find the box of 'toys' and i'd probably never leave my house again through sheer embarrassment, lol!

    Each time we have moved house the box has travelled within about 3 other boxes all taped up (and all batteries removed in case anything randomly comes alive - lol, that sounds so wrong but you know what i mean:D) and stays with me at every point of the move. I'm sure i look far more suspicious with not letting the box out of my sight but seriously i'm terrified of someone finding it - haha! OH finds my paranoia hillarious :o.:rotfl:

    this reminds me of when my son, aged about 8, wrote in his school journal.....my mum got a ramptant rabbit for christmas from my dad....Needless to say the page got ripped out before he went back to school.....

    I'm pretty sure I read somewhere about someone who was moving house. When the lady of the house went to check over the empty house before locking the door for the last time, she went into her bedroom and where the bed used to be was her rabbit, standing up in the middle of the floor. The removal men had found it lying under the bed when they'd shifted it. The shame. :o:eek:

    Lol, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Yeah, i read that already - but that just clarifies why i MUSTN'T let that darn box out of my sight :p

    I'm paranoid of nosey people too so if the babysitter comes, or any family are in the house when i'm not in i'll key lock my bedroom door. Gosh, i must look like i think they are going to nick something, but really i'm just scared they'll look in my toy box :o

    Oh god i can't believe i am admitting all of this, lol! I'm not a prude - just have very conservative in-laws which have made me so much more aware of what i say or how i act around certain people. My friends know far too much though as i used to be an Ann Summers rep and hear some really gorry sex stories which i'd then go and share with my besties.

    Lol, you are lucky that you read it BEFORE he got it to school, we used to take it in turns to read our weekend diaries to the class. You'd have had to explain it to the teacher who'd then have to explain to the other parents why their kiddies had come home asking what rampant rabbits are, lol!:eek::rotfl:
