Each time we have moved house the box has travelled within about 3 other boxes all taped up (and all batteries removed in case anything randomly comes alive - lol, that sounds so wrong but you know what i mean:D) and stays with me at every point of the move. I'm sure i look far more suspicious with not letting the box out of my sight but seriously i'm terrified of someone finding it - haha! OH finds my paranoia hillarious.:rotfl:
Oh my god - more tears down my face reading the new replies :rotfl:0 -

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere about someone who was moving house. When the lady of the house went to check over the empty house before locking the door for the last time, she went into her bedroom and where the bed used to be was her rabbit, standing up in the middle of the floor. The removal men had found it lying under the bed when they'd shifted it. The shame.

Definitely a memory like a hen. I was re-reading this thread (and thanks again to the OP for starting it) and saw said post. It was me that posted it http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=22202507&postcount=426in the first place.
Off topic, but I forgot how to drive my car the other week. Had to phone dh to come and get me as I thought the gearbox had gone. Turned out I was braking with my left foot, thinking it was a clutch, while trying to accelarate (it's an automatic). Only had the car 5 years.0 -

No problem with that. Just keep away from where I live.
I did something similar some years back. I normally drive manual but had the use of an automatic for a while. Forgetfully, I went to depress the clutch pedal ready to change down before a bend. The brake pedal tends to be wider in an automatic and I succeeded in pressing it down by catching the edge of it. Result: one emergency stop that astonished me so I don't know what the driver behind thought. No crash luckily but could have been nasty.
So you're not the only one.
I've also managed to flash headlamps while attempting to squirt the windscreen. Japanese cars tend to have those controls different to other cars and I got in a muddle.0 -

Hmm moved to a bungalow last year & all the neighbours are over 70 (me & my OH are early 30's but in a bungalow due to me having various probs after a very nasty car accident) so imagine her horror when the headboard banged on the wall that backs onto our neighbours bedroom...EEK!
best 89p I EVER spent in B&Q pipe lagging on the headboard legs! worked a treat for even the most vigarous days!!
although.....my OH's just over 14wks preg now with our 1st child so i'll rember the good old days with a tear in my eye (oops)...i'll print all this off to show our future son/daughter! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
