you can't expect her to be mature about this when you clearly aren't.

As i am sure you have realised, it is only the small minority. Everyone else realises that a healthy sex life is important!!
The minority are probably jealous!

I'm not name calling. I simply agreed some of the handling of the situation wasn't mature, which is a bit different. So no, of course not.
However it's nothing to do with having sex with your husband, but joking/ridiculing your incredibly embarrassed and possibly angry child. Is that so hard to understand, especially having described your own Mother as worse than Dot Cotton? You mentioned being mortified if your Mother found out what you were up to in the bedroom, as a married adult woman, yet fail to appreciate how your 14 year old daughter might be feeling about it all.
And I am fully aware of the importance of a healthy sex life; that is clearly not what I am referring to at all.0 -
Pouting because she isn't allowed to watch Big brother tonight.
Us parents are watching The Apprentice and are sky + BB for her,
if she watches it upstairs her brother moans so she will have to watch it tomorrow.
As we speak she is bribing hubby to put spare telly in kitchen so she can watch her precious BB!!!!We all deserve the SAME respect regardless of however many posts you have to your name0 -

Thank you, I love my hubby and kids and am getting a bit upset with being bashed for being honest about something.
Don't get upset. It is not as if you spread all the toys over the bed and then invited her into see it all. It was an accident and I am sure hard for everyone in involved (might be worth investing in a door lock tho) Your hubby may have been a little insensitive, but I think he was probably only trying to light the mood a little and I fear that my DH would have probably reacted in the same way :rotfl:
Please do not worry. I am sure in 10 years you will have a laugh about this - hey it is fantastic story for the Dad's speech on her wedding day0
