This thread has had me in stitches. You're daughter is out of order though, jumping in, then shouting at you, I find that quite a strange reaction. I'd be inclined to tell her that you're sending her to live with her Nana for not respecting your personal space! ;)
The posters that have mentioned older people still having active sex lives are spot on, I know far too much about my 90 year old grand-parents in that respect. :o I like seeing people hold hands & being loving, it's natural, normal & healthy. Teenagers nowadays spend so much time trying to be 'cool'...must be really hard work!

I remember when my youngest brother was born. I was 11 and disgusted that my 'rants were still doing the rude thing. Telling my friends was cringe worthy!!! I think I'm just about over it now!!! ;)

My son was 12 when his sister was born. He threatened to go live with my parents when I told him I was pregnant. I'd never seen him so mad. :rotfl:

Btw, my daughter shared a room with us until she was 5. I hope she was a deep sleeper and hasn't been mentally scarred!

I'm a qualified SpeakEasy instructor (I say 'qualified' and not just instructor because I haven't completed a course as an instructor YET!) and it's a fab course, although I am a little uncomfortable about the state telling parents what to tell their children about sex, I think the basic premise of educating parents about the facts and giving them the confidence to talk openly with them is the good thing about SpeakEasy. One mum of two in one session didn't know what oral sex was, that's the most memorable, but others didn't know anything about very common things.

Totally agree with everyone who is saying about her lack of respect for your privacy. I wouldn't be all apologetic either, it was her who was hanging around your room!

She didn't know what 'oral sex' meant or didn't know what the act was?
not knowing the name for it I can get but not knowing it exists....maybe I'm the product of todays over exposed youth:p

Chipstick, are you going for a repeat performance tonight? Its going to be a warm night ideal for a sweaty vocal session.

Methinks its time to get Hubbie to sit down and have that conversation. If he struggles to start it off here's a tip:
Dad "You know mummy and daddy love each other very much"
    Daughter "yeah - grunt"
Dad "Well sometimes mummy sits on daddies face and wiggles"
Daughter "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh I am to grannies!"
Dad "remember daarling Mummy isnt in pain when she howls like a banshee"

Oh you are wicked. I love it! :D

    Morning,
Unfortunatley my Oh had to be a wind up git last night, No we didn't play cork in bottle game but we just had a cuddle and giggle till he wiggled his fingers at me and said he was going to sex me ( think borat)..........because i stupidly eeked! dd throw things against the wall, Oh said we are only playing.......that made it worse......she said we are the most embarrassing parents and wants us to realise how ridiculous we are???
Oh ignored her silly behaviour and in a floor length dressing gown ( he hoped she would approve) went to speak to her, he explained we were just having a giggle and not doing the deed but she said she heard us???
So he left her too it, he came back to bed and we slept in nightwear on the covers as its hot and if we dressed nakey we will be accused of sex when we didn't, the way she goes on it sounds like we are nymphos!!!! I ruddy wish!!!............Thankfully i'm working at the solicitors office today so oh is working from home ths afternoon and picking up his darlings. Good day to you all, all ye who mock remember they do grow up and they do try to get you!!!!

P.s Morning wood!!!! I said no i'd rather a nescafe!!!! bless his little man bits.

I know I'm going against the trend here, but I think you are being quite insensitive towards your DD and I feel sorry for her :( It's her home and she should feel comfortable in her own bed :(
