I think parents should only have sex when the children aren't at home... why risk getting caught:confused:

We send my DS to his grandparents once a year so we can do the deed.

At that age the idea of just about everything to do with sex was yuck, but I thought better a few years later. If you are being reasonably quiet, then she can just learn to live with it. Afterall when she leaves home and house shares she will have to get used to it.

On which point, I recall being in halls with a rampant rabbit (vicar's son) who not only bed-hopped but also made a lot of noise. The folk sharing the same kitchen as one of his conquests got fed up with making supper accompanied by a screaming match. One summer night like this, they sorted it. Slipped a mike from the adjacent room - both windows open and a few inches apart - then fixed it up to the amp and played the pair next door back to them at volume.

It took about a minute for the row to subside. When they stuck their noses out the door the entire corridor was in stitches and a few others had come to see what it was all about.

After that cooking was a rather quieter affair.

Buy her some ear-plugs, suggest she plugs in her MP3 player, but tell her she is a very lucky lady to have folks who still love one another and have a great relationship.
