    you think a group of kids are going to remember the name of the person they asked to go into the shop for them? no, they remember the shop... and the police arent just gonna go looking for 'some guy' with a very vague description from a group of drunk kids

    You're just anti retail staff!!!!

    You and Taxiphil can't deny it! Both of you yesterday we're on a thread which has now since disappeared, were demanding better standards of service for shoplifters!!!!!!!
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    So rather than answer a logical question uktim (sorry I mean uktims forgot about the PR), you come up with that? There is nothing "anti" retail about the question, pretty lame answer though, even by your standards.

    As for another thread re; shoplifting, I think you are confusing yourself even more, as I don't have a clue what you are talking about. But still you have brightened my day by your lack of informative reason.

    Not at all, I have no doubt they wouldn't, but I am sure the shop in question could PROVE that the kids in question did NOT personally buy the alcohol from the store and that the store could not be liable for the purchase.

    All this attitude about being asked for ID when you are older than legal age is rubbish, you know how old you are, sometimes its hard for others to tell. It may be easy for someone your own age to tell, but relatively difficult for someone younger/older. Stop giving shop assistants hassle for doing their job, how would you like it if I came into your place of work and got angry at you for following the rules you've been given?
    all this attitude? i am 10 years over legal drinking age and when the majority of proof of age cards came out i was too old for them as they had an age limit of 23 for the ones that were intended for alcohol purchases, i'm almost 28 so i can get a citizencard or take my driving license out thats the only choices i get.

    no-one has ever thought in the last few years, oh theres bh, he looks like he should still be at school :confused:, they think there is bh, he looks in his mid 20's.

    and being given hassle for following your employers rules is pretty much any job especially if you deal with the public ;)
    things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
    BH is my best mate too, its ok :)

    I trust BH even if he's from Manchester.. ;)
