just wait until after Saturday when people call to add one!
People might be interested, but they don't all have contracts to renegotiate next week.
But is it possible to swap bolt-on choice? I believe I've read in the past that it is.
In which case, and if it still is, then swapping out and then adding back the same one would still work, which I think is what wanty means.
But I wonder how many people have actually added another charged bolt-on anyway. 500 or 1000 texts should be enough inclusive ones to make sure that hardly anyone needs unlimited texts. I suspect that unlimited landlines plus unlimited internet would be the most popular combination for those who have two, but 1200 inclusive minutes is probably about the same price and would keep all but the most gobby happy anyway. Perhaps there just isn't that much call for these.0 -
A LOT of iphone users have unlimited texts because the low tariffs only come with 500. So that will hit hard.
As for people changing and swapping, nope. Has to stay on for at least 3 months at first.
I certainly get a lot of calls about bolt ons, especially unlimited weekends and just think this will hit a little hard.

p.s. - what about My Europe Extra, or is that counted separately?0

Yes that's seperate, so should be no change. Although it may change soon with some other providers taking away roaming charges.

I agree, weekend and landlines are the most popular after the web bolt-ons I've noticed.
I think its just going to make more work for advisors, like I said, swapping bolt-ons around rather than just adding the one thats requested.
Will make it fun as well for customers who take out their contracts in 3rd party stores, they can only take unlimited texts so if they want to add the unlimited landlines, basically, they can't.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
And if they've literally just taken it out and want to change it - no no no! lol

Maybe that's why some whizkid in marketing has thought of this, to try to bring more deals direct to O2, but that isn't going to explain itself very well to disappointed people - i.e. you shouldn't have started from there, come back next year0 -
Phones4u and CPW are two of the worst 3rd party retailers I have ever had the misfortune to deal with! Completely useless!

First I have actually heard about this, I too work for o2. Typical tbh lately..
Can't see it being a good move, nevermind!0 -

I only found out by chance today myself. :rotfl:
Hopefully a U-turn will be done when they realise its not a good move.
I can understand getting rid of o2 calls because the family bolt-one gives way more better value, it is a fantastic bolt-on but not the rest.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
