I got an email saying the account was cancelled and they are sending a free return label for the book.
They also said someone must have signed up without my permission. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

My first email back from them stated that I DID order the book and "We hope this clarifies things for you".
Clarify my a***. I replied with an instant NO and prove it (arrogant b'stds.... - can you tell I am cross with them???)
They emailed again to tell me that someone else must have ordered for us and apologised. They are sending (allegedly) a returns label.
Do we actually have to return them? Quite frankly I cannot be bothered to go to the post office and as far as I am concerned they are unsolicited therefore a "gift". (Not that I am expecting a returns label)
Have not had a reply from my local Trading Standards about this yet though.0 -

I wonder if these type of links are what are accidently signing us up?

Tell them under the unsolicited goods act you are entitled to keep the goods for free. And you will not be returning them postage paid or otherwise.0

Return label is very unlikely to materialise. Here's an extract of my final mail to them.I have not joined your book club. I do not wish to join your book club.
THIS IS MY FINAL NOTIFICATION.
IF I NEED TO CONTACT YOU AGAIN IN THIS MATTER THEN I WILL CHARGE YOU £50 FOR EVERY FUTURE COMMUNICATION FROM ME THAT I DEEM TO BE NECESSARY IN THIS MATTER.
The book you have sent to me is unsolicited junk mail and if you want it
back there will be a handling charge of £10. I will not pay for it.
That did the trick in my case. They emailed back that my account was closed with no balance to pay.0 -
Hiya Bryspatio
You said you were going to check if they credit checked you. Did they?0 -
Hi all,
Am a newbie member but have been trailing this site for a while. Was beginnning to panic about a box of trash and a book that i had received from Mango which i had never asked for. I too go on a lot of daily click sites and freebie sites so figure this is how it must have come about.
Just wondering where everyone sent their emails to. I tried the email address someone had posted earlier but it says its incorrect.
Am glad i read this post though and now know its nothing to worry about.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

I had a letter back as a result of my letter to the CEO. They apologised for the "unwanted introductory parcel". My records were supplied to Mango by an Internet signup. They also enclosed screen shots of the site who passed my details.......Which was : getmyanswers.co.uk / PrimeQ - the screenshot showed an opportunity to win Wimbledon tickets.....
As a gesture of goodwill, they have said I can keep the book or donate it to charity. And confirmed my details would be removed. What should I put in here that won't upset people.........0 -
same story for me as well, got a book through about a month ago that I didn't ask for. I phoned them and they sent me a returns label to send it back - frankly I don't see why I should and can't be bothered.
Do you think I should post it back - I haven't heard from them since so tempted not too!0 -
Could someone possibly help me with this.
I copied an e-mail from one of the letters I'd seen on here and sent it to: customercare@bca.co.uk which is the address they stated in the welcome letter with the book.
I've just logged onto my e-mails now to find that it has been sent back as "undeliverable".
Does anyone have another e-mail address, or is it worth sending them a snail mail letter.
I can't phone them as I have no land line at present.
Thanks
