In limbo at the moment, all feels a bit unreal - is that normal?

That's the worst thing about buying/selling - you aren't in control, there are periods of waiting when you do not know what you are waiting for, there is uncertainty and doubt. No wonder its a stressful time! Oh well it (hopefully) doesn't last too long!
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.

Apparently my viewers really loved the house, but cant afford to increase and I cant drop any more,so thats that. Dropped the price with the EA again, but about to give em notice anyway,so if no interest with them hopefully a new EA may have people on their books that will be interested. I live in hope lol

I'm thinking, as a ftb, that if and when I see a house that I want to put a offer on whether it would be a good idea to ask the vendor who their solictior is, if I went with the same solicitor it should narrow the time scale down.

    Good idea?

Terrible idea. Conflict of interests & all that. But you could ask their solicitor to recommend a solicitor to you.;)

Completed on sale of old house yesterday.:j Money hit our bank account late yesterday afternoon & this morning I have tranferred most of it to our mortgage. Keeping a bit back for some furniture & a new carpet for this house.

All the best to everyone still trying to sell.

    Hi all
My house has been on market for about 6 weeks. Had one viewing but thats all. It's a 2 bed end of terrace so I was hoping I would have had a bit more interest but time will tell!
It is stressful though trying to keep things tidy, hoping phone will ring etc!
TRYING VERY HARD TO START SAVING!

Have chased this morning, and apparently the bottom of the chain are pushing and exchange will be this week or next, with my buyer staying with parents as she will be completing earlier than us, so its all looking positive for once today, Yipeeeeee this sale could go through yet:j
