first 2 buyers had mortgage offers withdrawn last year when panic set in .....this buyer (FTB) is just not answering the phone!
I am gutted at the loss of 2 months potentially good marketing period......when every house I had on my potential list has sold and now prices (albeit asking prices....and those are selling) are going up!
Just the thought of having to clean the house for viewers again is making me reach for the wine bottle !
I see lots of new people ...... wishing you all the very best of luck, I am going to be here for a while and will no doubt see you all move on !
Very sorry to hear this. If it's any consolation, we sold fourth time lucky, and it really was, as nothing on the market then would have matched the deal we've done now.
Sometimes, buyers just get cold feet, and if yours is not answering the 'phone, then they know they've messed you around. Let's hope their guilt trip ensures they never do it again. With a FTB, a sudden change of heart might be family pressure; heck, we even had that with a lady in her 60s!
It could still work out for you this year & I hope it does.0 -
thanks xxx
cant really get motivated now and feel like going to the buyers house and asking them why they messed with my life and my kids lives......thats how it feels right now......now I have to tell the kids that all our plans have gone to pot again and once again their lives are on hold ....not the best time with exams and other stuff going on!
sorry just feeling a bit sorry for myself !YNWA JFT96 :A0 -
Big hugglies CS, cant believe its happened again! What is wrong with people? Hope you get another buyer soon, and one that does not mess you about.

I don't think DD has been PPR'd, or if he was, it has now been removed. He left himself.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

was totally peed off yesterday and was ready to take it off the market and forget it for a few years until youngest is in secondary school so we can forget having to stay in catchment, but today i feel a bit more relaxed and will wait and see....Credit Card debt £10247.17 1/1/20200 -

I stand corrected. Thanks LE.
However, at least one of his alter egos was PPR at that time, so it is no wonder some of us are confused. When people assume false identities, they also create distrust and undermine the integrity of the board, no matter how clever or amusing they think they are.
I shouldn't spread untruths, so for those who wish to know,
Dithering Dad left of his own volition.
But he was still reading this board last night!;)0 -

cant be helping with promoting the house when i have an attitude before they even get here!Credit Card debt £10247.17 1/1/20200 -
I now how you feel Pink, I got really fed up of it too, so either let the EA do the viewings, or just politely greet them, then tell them to have a look around themselves and come back to you if there are any questions, perhaps?Pawpurrs x0
