Hi Matty, what area are you in? Just tried replying but kids jumped all over me...so dont think it posted. I think it depends on different areas. Im in the midlands and have had 3 viewings in 8 months (and we have always kept the price below everyone else as well but cant afford to literally give it away). Others like Pawpurrs in different areas of the country have regular viewings.

    hi everyone
my homes for sale , but with a twist
l live in a park home/mobile home in kent [its not that mobile really, still in the same place everytime l come home :rotfl:]

you think your having a hard time , much as l love living here in this sort of community ,[lm only downsizing but staying on this park ] we have rules + regulations that rule out a small percentage of potential buyers
    ie:
dog no bigger than spaniel size  one per home [breaks my heart that bit]:mad:

no campervans/commercial vans on the park allowed [even if they are your only form of transport]

no breathing after 8pm , nah .... only joking :D:D we know our dustman personally so my empty wine bottles are embarrassing to say the least on recycle day :o:o

lve been here 18yrs [lm 53 now] so im no old fogey whizzing around on a zimmer ! its a lovely community , people are really friendly and all ages [not a "waiting for god " retirement park ] there,s a working marina/harbour and barge dwelling community on the river 2 mins walk away from my home , l walk my dog through the boatyard every day on the way to the sea wall and still find it facinating... there,s always something going on, sometimes sit in lorna,s cafe [ does a wicked bacon sarnie ] and pass time talking to the boat owners ect ...we are all detatched and surrounded by fields and the river , its like being on holiday but you dont have to leave your key at reception

no dodgy neighbours [ they can be evicted if they cause hassle ]

lm so lucky to have found this type of property it may not be everyones cup of tea as lots of people think its like a caravan site god forbid ,
and no ....i hav,nt got a crystal ball and l get my pegs from poundland like the rest of you lot !:rotfl:
    PRICES :
my home is currently up for sale at £120,000 its very modern inside , has gfch well insulated , 20X13 lounge with french doors onto decking overooking fields towards the local village and church loads of wildlife ,, bill oddie would luv it :D
ive had loads of viewings , its just the rules seem to be tripping people up thats due to bad management of the e/a not understanding or explaining the quirks of park living

sorry got a bit carried away but hope ive made some of you a bit curious to look into this type of property youv,e nothing to loose .. but could gain a lot

    xxx

Its very neutral, which is good in a way.....but to me it lacks homleyness, for the piccys personally I would add some colour, baskets of flowers by the front, dont cost much and you can take them with you. Add some curtains, and some colour in the kiddies room perhaps?
Can you put a different duvet cover on rarther than the spiderman one on, in that photo your mind just cant see past it!

always check what you estate agent offers and is obliged to do for the sale of your property

l had a small local e/a who was carp  sorry cant spell :rotfl:
l signed up for my details to be show on rightmove [thats what made me go with this e/a ] only to find out 2wks later that when i checked it was not on rightmove. l spoke to e/a manager and was told that he had probs with that site ?? and was going to put it with propertyfinder

after 2 wk s of not appearing on p/ f .. l decided to ask p/f directly why l was not advertised on their site , only to be told that the e/a in question was only "manually updating rental properties and was not updating any sale properties to date ":mad:
l rang said manager who denied all of this tilll said id spoke to p/f ....then he went quiet + said put withdrawal of property in writing
l ripped off the e/a manager straight away and told him to shove my contract with him up his sunny a**e:rotfl::rotfl:

two wks later l checked on the e/a website and found my home still on as the property of the week :mad:
l demanded it come off the site asap and it did:T

also rang the OEA [ombudsmen for estate agents] to complain, as the said e/a declared in writing on my contract that they were member OAE ....only to find their agreement ran out last june 08 :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

OAE said would write to e/a and severely slap their wrists:T

    MORAL OF THIS STORY :
dont believe everything your told and check everything
