Our EA does do all our viewings for us, we made sure of that. It was a case of the viewers wanting to see it that afternoon, but having a child with special needs means there are days when he having therapy at home. I did offer the very next day for both viewings but that was not acceptable. I know I shouldn't knock any viewings back, but my little one has to come first at the moment.

news from us, been on market one week tomorrow and have had 2 viewings. Todays were ftbs but only stayed 15 mins and didn't want to go out into garden said they could see how lovely it was through the window
The first ones who i thought seemed dodgy were here for 40 minutes. The ea told us it was a man on his own who had a property but didn't need to sell it as finance not a problem. Turns out that said house is girlfriends, they now looking at property together and he seems to be wearing the trousers! He says they haven't decided whether to rent it out but it wouldnt be an issue as they have the mortgage for new house together. There was a house round the corner identical style to our but old lady died and she had done nothing to it. They said they had dithered over that one and lost it to a builder. Seemed keen on ours as we have done all the improving that the other one needed doing, but old ladies was up for 10k less. Didn't go for that though:rotfl:over priced and had to drop it by 10k.
Wonder what will come of the viewings if anything?

GRRRRR :mad::mad::mad: Well i've just checked our bank account and our mortgage people have taken the wrong amount of money.... for once not enough has been taken!!!:rotfl:

Well another weekend is nearly upon us, and still here in the same situation! No viewings lined up for the second weekend in a row, has that spring bounce finished now?
Hope those of us still to sell, have some viewings lined up this weekend, and someone will have some good news. :beer:

You to Pawpurrs. Have realised this is my karma coming back to bite me as the last two sales I had I sold to a friend who was an invester so no hanging around, viewings etc. Shame he now lives 250 miles away lol

Sorry if my answer sounded like I was offended, I wasn't at all. I didn't take it the wrong way, I'm just not very eloquent when writing and so narked with my EA that I'm constantly in a grump over this subject.

Sorry once again, honest I hadn't taken offence!

Well my viewers from Wed night who reckoned they would be on to the EA the following day to arrange a second viewing for the weekend seem to have had a change of heart , but I have someone else coming this evening. I have been on the market for 12months and only 2 viewings and now changed agents and 2 in a week (have reduced though) but even so I feel like I am in the game at last.
Good luck to anyone else with viewings coming up.

Buyers are funny old creatures arent they, I think a lot of them Just dont want to appear rude, and say they are intrerested when they are not, more often than not its the ones who seem the least interested that go on to purchase.
Good Luck with the viewing Karen, the price reduction seems to be getting people through the door, so thats good. Have you reduced by much?
Still nothing here for the weekend for me.

I have reduced by a total of 35,000, the last reduction was 15,000 , I have 2 viewings booked in tomorrow , I cant believe it after nothing for so long. I am quite limited now regarding what I can buy due to a diminishing deposit , but I need to move and will rent for a while if necessary , my only snag is I have 2 dogs which might make it harder , but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
