    I may be getting muddled but I said thank goodness you didn't have a white bathroom suite :p

    The flat we're selling, dear hubby got around to changing the floor to laminate but unfortunately the avocado suite remains and the green tiles around it (similar to your brown ones) :eek: We didn't see the point of ripping out the bathroom suite when we moved as we were selling...

    I swear avocado bathroom suites haunt me, so glad our rental house has white ones...

    Update from viewings:

    Viewers No. 1 according to EA cannot afford to offer me the right sort of money I need and also the parking issue, EA did mention that the yellow lines were going to be removed but that did not sway them. I went back to say what did they have in mind, but think it's a no-go;

    Viewers No.2: did not know area very well and basically said the house was perfect but not the location or the parking situation.

    Viewer No. 3 - no feedback yet...

    Sigh...:(

    They won't commit to anything MB :( Until the public consultation takes place and it actually happens, no one wants to put their neck on the line. They've verbally confirmed it but not in writing just yet that the idea has been accepted in principle :S

    Still, we live in hope....

    Putting the parking & location to one side, why not create an AIP which could have been a help if the parking etc had not been an issue, especially for those not from the area. We have to have a HIP by law, so I've gone one step further & created our AIP. Area Information Pack. I've listed all schools, college's, supermarkets, major stores, restaurants & public houses, local market day, public transport inc train station, motorway access, recreational facilities, parks, baths, gym's, etc. etc.

    Like they say at ASDA (which is listed) "Every little helps")
  • Rubbish Az,silly Council they always take far to long over everything.

    But you never know viewer 3 could be the one
