Az, I simply typed up all the info I figured a prospective buyer would need/like to know, to help with their understanding of what's in the area.

No costs involved whatsoever. Just added our details ie property address, our name & contact details etc. as the title at the top of the page & simply saved it, then I'm able to print one off on to an A4 sheet to hand out when required.

I came up with the initials AIP which just fell in nicely with the official HIP that's required by law.

Thanks Beejay, that's really helpful :)

Have arranged to view a rental property tomorrow morning in case sale goes smoothly and we need to move quickly.

A house across the street is also for sale at nearly twice our price so makes ours look a bargain.(it is bigger and has loft converted etc)

DH looked across the street this morning and another house has just come up for sale  - almost directly opposite and quite similar to ours.

Fingers crossed it does not scuppper sale etc.

Yes,. I still take an interest, though I left this thread as a seller ages ago, back in the days when houses were really hard to sell!

    Y'see, we had it tough......;)

For the AIP you can crib a lot of the information from upmystreet... :)
  • Well I haven't accepted our offer from last friday outright. Out of the 3 properties we viewed at the weekend, we liked one and have put an offer in yesterday. They haven't come back yet, but if they accept our offer, we'll accept our offer and we can get going with it all. If they don't accept our offer of 175k on a 180k house, so a very good offer in my opinion! then I'm tempted to throw the towel in for a year or 2 as theres simply nothing else that fits what we need and I don't need to move so much, that I'm prepared to put up with all this forever
