Taken some new photos after a declutter so rightmove has new brighter front picture and added main bedroom / shower room pictures.
But the ea seems to think the living room pic already there is better than ones we have done. Opinions please

Been on a month and not even had a sniff of interest, houses moving regularly in the area and we are fairly priced......anyone provide me with any feedback positive or negative.....
strange that we have not even had a tyre kicker never mind a serious viewing!
Any feedback much appreciated.....0 -
xtra_time - other than being less blurred than the pics on rightmove, I don't think there is much of a difference really. But if you really want them changed I would insist that they do it. It is your house after all.
fiffio - pics look great, room sizes are fairly good. Two things jump out at me...where is the front door? And also, is it a downstairs bathroom? Downstairs bathrooms are a big no no around here and put a lot of people off. Your kitchen looks lovely though! I am jealous0 -
I'm getting worried. We've heard nothing from our buyers since accepting their offer a week and a half ago. No 2nd viewing, no contact from a surveyor - nothing. Had some paperwork from the EA confirming the buyers details but nothing else. Am I being unduly worried? Do I have too much time on my hands? :rotfl:
Seriously though, all our paperwork went back to the solicitor and mortgage company at the weekend. The survey is being done on our new house this week so I thought it would be similar for our buyer too. I'm too nervous to contact the EA to ask
Hi, we just accepted offer on our house this Monday, haven't received the "Memorandum of Sale" yet but I know our Buyers are on holiday.
I have learnt something from the last 2 chains I have been in - wait for the bottom of the chain to get their surveys and mortgage offers before you do - not sure what your position is in the chain ????
If we had been quick off the mark last time it could have cost us another valuation fee £300 - bad enough that we have to pay again this time. Basically the chain fell through within 3 weeks of our Buyers accepting their offer, luckily it took us a couple of weeks to find our property so we hadn't really got to that stage.
"Patience is a virtue" - that is what you learn in this game and "no news is good news" !!!
Hopefully we'll be going through this together !!!????:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
frafferty - I'd be the same tbh. I would be ringing the EA or sol to ask if they know what's going on - suppose it could be the buyer's lender being slow if they are just getting a valuation?
x-tra time - I prefer your second photo - less blurry and also less clutter as you've obv decluttered around.
fiffio - I too think it looks great esp for the price - presume you have benchmarked against sold prices in your area/your type of house? The bathroom does look a little cluttered but nothing major - agree about front door - you can't see it? On the whole though - it's presented well.
Potty - hope you are right about no news being good - we've heard nothing from the 2nd time viewers - or from the EA - I expect she'll phone them tomorrow if she hasn't heard anything.
My Mum went to see a house (2nd viewing) last night - I went with her and loved it! She put an offer in today, they wouldn't accept first offer (they already had one offer in supposedly?) but they did accept her second one! Just hope it goes smoothly for her.0 -
PottyHouse - erk! I never thought of that. We are middle of a chain of 3. Our buye is a divorcee purchasing with proceeds of divorce + a small mortgage. Then us, then the people who we are buying from who are moving into an empty property. Us and the people who we are buying from are progressing quite nicely, surveys are being carried out this week and paperwork has gone back to the solicitor etc. But have heard nothing about our buyer. Beginning to wish I had chosen a different EA tbh.
Hopejack - have rang the EA and they just said it is early days yet and not to panic. Think they are lazy barstewards who can't be bothered to find out what is going on. Yes, they are probably waiting on the mortgage but I'm impatient, lol!0 -

well, i reckon your house looks very nice. though i agree it's a little odd not to see the front door.
if i were to be Very picky, i'd say that you should move the white wicker uni in the bathroom them take another pic - it makes it look very cramped - it looks like you couldn't open the bottom drawer due to the dotty-thingy (can't make out what that is, sorry!). Also, the huge winnie the poo makes the bed and room look smaller!
a nice looking property though. :TRelax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -
