Thanks to everyone for your best wishes :-) We're packed up and nearly ready to go tomorrow. Just have to do a final clean up once all the furniture is out of the way! Can't wait, but it doesn't seem real and my tummy is in knots! Still expecting SOMETHING to go wrong!
Good luck to everyone else on here! Thanks for your support xx0 -
Thanks all! mrsw1983 - we are in same boat, only still packing now as I type (paused to eat dinner lol) and we still have all the kitchen to pack and the front porch!! Will pop back when we come out on the other side!!!0

So pleased for you Kymie and MrsW !!! You're on the home straight now - nearly there !!
Waiting for feedback on 2nd viewing, it was 100% positive but don't want to count chickens ...... plus bonus viewing straight after by a sold couple .... they were very guarded, I could not read them at all so that will be interesting feedback !!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Been on to my EA today re how the market is doing - she tells me its moving again so in light of that I have reduced mine from £265K to £249995 hopefully this will stimulate some more interest and a sale.0

Hi Milliewilly,
I would say £15k reduction would definitely interest me (if I had that much to spend) !!
Good luck, let us know how you get on.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Hi all
We're selling our house only been on the market a week.
Hoping to get some support from you all. I have a horrible feeling it will be a long journey.
I have found a house that me and hubbie both love, but can't do anything yet:(

Hi Rose_Tinted - welcome !!!
We have been on the market for one whole year this Wednesday !!!
Quite a few disappointments along the way (too many to mention but you can find previous threads on here) but I am surprisingly extremely positive! (Just waiting on feedback for a second viewing and another viewing on Saturday - no news is good news !!).
We made it clear to our EA (with us having 2 young children and having to get the house in tip top condition and one of us having to take the boys to the park etc) we only really wanted "proceedables" viewing - we could not stand the stress and disappointment of timewasters wanting a nose - all those wasted viewings !!
Anyway, I have sinced changed my mind as it turns out the 2 really good potential Buyers we have found were either not even on the market or just gone on (not sold).rose_tinted wrote: »Have you got to the stage of being a bit fed up when people view yours. I have been to a couple of houses and the vendors really couldn't have cared less. Or that is how they came across :0)
Was saying to my Husband yesterday how can you expect people to be positive and like your home if you do not give that impression to them. Always focus on the positives and try and turn any negative into a postive!! I am extremely proud of our home but really ready to leave it behind now and start anew - does that make any sense ??!!!
Look forward to hearing your news and how things are going your end.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
