Well I think I know what the F stands for. More like FEA than FTB! :)

We had three viewings for this weekend. Hooray! :D One cancelled 25mins before the appointment! :( Luckily another one later, so effort not wasted. :)

Today’s one sneakily cancelled via the EA website, so we didn’t know. I don’t usually check my email while polishing mirrors and cleaning windows. Found out when ‘no show’.

thanks not_loaded wow that good, shame about the cancellation.............it'll be there loss :)

how long you been on the market for?

house up the road from me went SSTC on friday........they have been on the market since Nov (2 bed) so they are well chuffed.

I must admit with hubby's job issues, i'm kinda glad we turned down the offer from the other week............gives me a bit of breathing space until he gets his interview and finds out

Just sat down to dinner and a knock at the door.........i answered and stood there is a bloke who wants to come back in 20 minutes to view the house!!!!!!!!!!

he was looking at another in the area, and noticed mine as he was going home.

I had to decline and suggested he ring the agents tomorrow to arrange a viewing

funny thing is i felt rude saying no........... :(

don't like to turn anyone away, as they might be our buyer :)

lets hope they make an appointment

I once had someone knock my door, when I was in on my own with my son. I also felt rude saying no call the agent, but as if I'm going to let someone off the street into my house!!!! It freaked me out a little bit when, surprise surprise, they never called the agent to make an appt, so made me wonder about his intentions!!!

OK Im holding my breath now - we are hoping to exchange this Friday with a view to completing and moving next Fri (5th Feb). Of course hubby is bogged down at work and trying to find someone to cover him for a week so he can come up and help me pack! I could probably get most of it packed myself, but knowing the younger kids they will be unpacking it just as quick lol! For those of you that have done big moves what did you do? The removals have said that they load up one day and deliver the next, so do they load up the day before completion and then did you stay in a hotel or something that night? We did the removals ourselves up here but it was a nightmare weekend (luckily our last buyer was a friend doing a BTL so wasnt worried how long we took to get all our stuff out) and as I have the baby (and the 3yr old being very active) we are not gonna be able to do it all ourselves this time.

Thankyou goldengirl - I shall read it now! Nope, I have no friends or family here (one of the reasons we are moving as we have been here over two years and are still treated as outsiders so moving back to where we lived before as we have a small support network still there!), so its just me and hubby and 6 kids. The older two kids are fairly good at watching the smallest two though, and the two middle kids are well behaved (most of the time at least lol) but it still means just two of us to do everything. Thanks for the link though! off she goes to read it....
