good luck devilot, sure it will all be fine.
We spent the morning talking about mortgages with 2 different lenders so my head was hurting but some caffeine soon sorted it. I am still amazed by the amount they want to lend even after recent times. We won't be borrowing half as much as we like to sleep at night although after next week when the board goes up I'm sure I won't. We are currently clearing a room ready for new carpet tomorrow so all signs of my son's tomato soup incident will be a thing of the past. We will only be eating chicken soup from now on. Photos are being done on fri and then hopefully by next weekend our board will be up- am so excited/ scared/ dreading it at same time.

  • Jenny, 4 viewers thats fantastic. I know what you mean about that feeling ! even tho we have sold now its like i dont care. We have no motivation to look for another house. Its like we have been waiting for so long and seen so many houses sell that we would of loved and now their is nothing left to suit us. We will happily walk away from this house once completed and go into rented as both of us just dont have the energy after the last 11m.

Devilot, got fingers and toes crossed for you.

I hope today brings more good news for everyone :D

I have a viewing booked in for the weekend, not heard back from the Nightmare lady with regards to another viewing..Plodding on.
Hope you all get on well with your viewings.
    Heard anything regarding survey Charlotte?
    Pawpurrs x ;)
  • Morning Pawpurrs :)

No survey booked yet but tbh im not expecting it for another week or so as the couple are in Zante till mon coming, plus she buried her mother on friday. I dont mind if it takes longer to move as our redemption finishes 30/09/09 so that would be a nice extra 3k we saved.

I hope you get more viewings booked in pawpurrs

Off to my mothers now 4 kids and half term and endless phone calls is sending me round the bend ... need another adult around me :rotfl:

We always do that when we move areas. House selling is stressful enough without trying to do a house buying too.

I'm the dog walker for my neighbours when they have a viewing and I'm walking the dog tonight:D Unfortunately, another house a few doors up, has just gone on the market.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Offer was rejected. So upped it and am still awaiting a reply.
  • After 7 months on the market we accepted an offer last week, making a loss on what we paid in 2005 but thats the way of the world.

We are a bit twitchy though as the buyer came for a second viewing on tuesday (accepted offer last monday) and wants to come back with her parents tonight. Is she aftera second opinion or just showing off her prospective 1st home? Time will tell.

Nothing we want to buy so will look to rent in the meantime...any advice about looking for a 'stop gap' rental you can fit 3 kids and a pregnant wife into? Seems like all the family sized houses are 'long term' rentals...

House went on market officially today. Good times.

Agent already has a person wishing to view on Saturday. Nothing to sell. Very good times.

Tenants are away and not able to do viewing. Bad times.

    Not sure what to do!

Good luck to everyone else with viewings booked in!
