Welcome littlemiss, make yourself right at home, pull up a chair, grab a coffee
Well done on reading all that thread
You never know you could get Lucky, it only takes one person, and sunds like your being realistic, in price.
Well I have spoken to this new agent in town, and they are popping around in an hour.
Thanks pawpurrs, the thread took ages but I did learn a lot - probably annoyed my EA by checking advertising, sole agency etc and pointing out typos on the details - nothing that would have occured to me before!
Good luck with the new agent, have been keeping my fingers crossed for you since you began the thread - or rather since I started reading it (if that makes sense), and it's about time you had some really good luck.LittleMissInDebt0 -
Keep posting moneysaving even if just for some support.
Perhaps having the one next door on will bring you some viewings, after all if they are viewing next door they might as well view yours at the same time, and if yours has the drive, it could make it seem better value;)
The new agents have just been, and they were lovely, third time lucky in terms of agents and hopefully buyers:rolleyes:Pawpurrs x0 -

What a pain, I worry about this too as the house next to mine is now empty, and I could do without the competition... of course there's always the hope that the same family will want two houses next to each other - it may be slim, but still you never know!LittleMissInDebt0 -
I'm trying to stay positive... One of our EAs have rung to book 2 viewings this afternoon. Both proceedable. We're away until Monday though! My friend has my keys and the EA have agreed to collect them for the viewing that wants to come on saturday. (My spare keys are with the other EA).
So fingers crossed one and all! (For one and all!)

Thanks, Pawpurrs and Charliestwins. I need all te good vibes and positivitiy I can get. Even given this good news, I still feel down in the dumps.
And I forgot to mention that the other EA has 2 people (apparently both proceedable as well) that want to view, and they are trying to arrange it for one evening as thats when the viwers can make it. So that makes 4. SO why don't I feel better?
I've also learned today that the house we were buying IS going back on the market next week, but the owners are away and haven't had time to clean/tidy up.

Why doesn't post come in the mornings like it used to! 2 - flippin - 30 ours rolled up, I was on the verge of loading the kids in the car and driving around the neighbourhood to track him down, its an absolute disgrace!!
Anyway, contracts came, I went to OH's work and we signed them and got a colleague to witness and I popped them straight in the postbox on my way home. Had a bit of a panic trying to transfer our deposit by Halifax faster payment service, as I realised it was too large to send as a faster payment so it would send it by BACS instead (ie 3 days clearance time!) luckily one phone call later and I had arranged a CHAPS payment although it won't be in the solicitors account until tomorrow now as because of the post being late, I missed the cut off time of 1.30pm...
So hopefully we will still be exchanging tomorrow with Friday completion, please keep your fingers crossed nothing goes wrong at this stage!:o0 -
Your so nearly there Devilot, you Lucky thing!Pawpurrs x0
