Also as your audit was not done for 4 months after you had paid did it say you actually had a case and also is the solicitor still acting for you?
I spoke to the sales person. Sent over the docs and paid the £500. 24 hours later the sales person came back to say that I have a case and that it will be passed to the lawers.....4 months later I find that the audit was done...I have all the dates etc and can evidence this. Thats why Im thinking that this is fraud and should go down the lines of a criminal invesgation.0 -

At first I rang up and the sales person said that I need to send over my credit card number which I did. He then came back a day later and said that there are some breaches in the agreement, because they have other clients who’s numbers are closer to mine and those had breaches as well. Based on this, he said that I was to pay £495 + VAT. The t&c I have with the credit card company would be audited and if the solicitors felt that there was a chance to win in court, they would take my case on. If they didn’t, I would get a refund. The sales person said that the audit would take 30 days to complete.
40 days later I emailed the sales person asking what was going on. He emailed back saying that the solicitors were dealing with my case and is currently been audited.
3 months later, I hadn’t heard anything, so I emailed the sales person at kerobo dealing with my case. He didn’t respond till the 3rd email. He then informed me that the solicitors were dealing with it all. I made contact with them and they hadn’t received any of my documents at that point in time. I also can prove that there was no audit at the time of when the sales person said there was.
2 months after that I established that the audit was done 4 months after I had been told that there was breaches in my t&c. So this is my point, The sales person has taken £500 from me telling me that there are breaches in my t&c when clearly he didn’t know that at the time- because the audit wasn’t done!!!
I hope this clarifies my point.0 -

Also were you trying to write off your credit card that you paid with? This is something that a few companies were telling people to do. It is wrong and "that" borders fraud in my eyes also.
The sales person here seems to have misled you into believing you had a claim (which was obvious as to why he did this as he got your payment of £495 + vat!!) when he really did not know as your audit was done a long later. We see posts like this all the time from victims of claims companies who had no intention of ever getting any sort of result from the claim and they need closing down and also the people involved in these firms need investigating.
All I can say is if you feel someone has committed a fraud then you really need to report it and see whether you have a case. I have no idea how this would be treated TBH but as well I would certainly report to the MOJ and if the solicitors are being awkward too, perhaps the SRA.0 -

Thanks for your replies so far.
Yes I did use the credit card im trying to write off to pay kerobo....how is that wrong though?
I will report this to the MOJ but at the end of the day what are they really going to do? Also, what is TBH and who is the SRA?0 -

As regards TBH and the SRA - TBH is "to be honest" and SRA is the "Solicitors Regulation Authority".0 -
marshallka wrote: »Hi, in answer to your first one you were using a card knowingly to "not" pay back the money (as it was to be written off in effect) so some would say this was actually a pre planned act of obtaining money to not pay back... just my view perhaps but in my eyes it borders fraud also although you were being led into it by the advisor perhaps.

That is a very good point which I think some should think seriously about.0 -
Seems we have heard this story before on here about claims companies. I think they just make their money, close their doors and use another name. The staff are often the same.
Seems like they are definately of the same individuals.

TEKLA CORPORATION and based in the Seychelles.(quote from esmerellda)
Also Delete uk Limited only recently changed their name from RECOVER CHARGES LIMITED in March of this year according to companies house.
They managed to get authorised by MOJ also
Business Name: Delete (UK) Ltd Address: 114 Washway Road
Sale Town/City: Postcode: M3 7RF County: Cheshire
Trading Names: blank Sector: Financial products/services, Authorisation Number: CRM70150 -
They just prey on the vunerable and people like that always will. They get away with it cause they are being allowed to get away with it and nothing is being done. We have never heard what has happened yet with Cartel client review who had a MOJ investigation some months ago but nothing has been published as yet as to what they are doing about it. Firms like this need "proper" regulation and MOJ are not strong enough to stop them so far as we have seen. I would put a complaint in about them to MOJ cause the more people that do it the more chance of them taking some notice maybe.0

In fact I know of a few threads on here about certain companies and the goings on and I think it would be good to actually send the links to MOJ so they can see for themselves how these companies are getting away with things (so it seems from posts on here!!!). Let them decide then if things are true and fact what is being written.0
