Dont ever ever make the mistake of going with them. Theyve had over £800 pounds from me and ive not seen a penny in return. I keep phoning them and never get anywhere the only way i believe round this is to report them to the ministry of justice or take them to small claims court. Take my advice and stay well clear.0

They use this website to advertise, Has anyone heard of this company, has anyone completed this sucessfully, are they a genuine claims company or just a scam outfit? They give their address as Ravenstone House, Britannia Road, Sale.
They are asking for £350 to action - can't afford to lose anymore so please advise? Confused in need of help?
Thank you:eek:
Hello I am dealing with Kerobo at the moment. The do take £350 off you but you get it back win or lose. Thats all they take as their payment comes from the Credit card company. They have successfully written off my credit card debts of £16,733, due to unenforceable credit agreements ! so its worth the money to try.
Hope this helps

I believe you....not.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Well, I have had dealings with Kerobo over the last number of months and as of today they have disappeared. Their number rings through to the answer machine. I contacted someone at Ravenstone House where they were centered and they told me they moved out. I have a new address which is Atlantic business center and the management company for the business center told me Kerobo have a PO box there for mail. So looks like they have folded. Some more work led me to the company register list, quote...
Name & Registered Office:
KEROBO LIMITED
GRIFFIN COURT 201 CHAPEL STREET
SALFORD
MANCHESTER
LANCASHIRE
M3 5EQ
Company No. 06583919
This is the registered address for Kay, Johnson and Gee accountants. I contacted Kay, Johnson and Gee and asked for someone related to Kerobo and was told that I would be contacted some time today...
Looks like they have gone out of business so chances of getting money back for work not yet carried out is slim. Most likely they will turn up again in another guise...0 -

If you read the small print, they haven't written off your debt, its simply unenforceable. This means the debt still exists, the credit card company can't take you to court and dip into your wages or seize possessions to that value. Somewhere in the records you still owe the company the money, all £16+k.
This debt is part of your estate, comprising home and possessions. If anything where to happen to you, then it would come out of your estate, so somewhere along the line THEY will get their debt repaid.
I have spoken with the company to whom I owe a small'ish debt. I arranged to pay 5% of what I owe as the debt is 'unenforceable'. This means the company gets the same figure they would have received had they sold it as bad debt and I get to clear the debt.
Worth considering. Speak to CAB about this type of arrangement.0 -
Well looks like Ive been shafted as well...

They are pretty much winding down after instruction from the MoJ and I recieved a letter from ATM today saying they cant pursue my case as the over all amount is over 25k despite my actually loan being for 24,500 (comes to over 30 including interest) and they are passing it back to kerobo for a refund!0 -

Thanks for letting us know. That's GREAT news :j:j:j
It's a shame the company are winding down though.:rotfl:0 -
I think this should be renamed the Kerobo fools forum, as I too have fallen foul to the false promises also.
A good friend of mine recommended me to use them, as she wanted to help as she saw the state I was getting myself into with my finances and I took her advice stupidly as she worked for them and I thought my mate wouldn't stitch me up.
I luckily did not fork out a small fortune and was given a very large discount, (mates rates) so I am grateful for small mercies but didn't pay on a credit card so unlikely to get a refund back from them.
I don't blame her, she only gave me the advice to use them, I didn't have to take it.
Anyway to cut a long story short following months of the claim not going anyway, to be honest after not getting a reply despite numerous chasers I forgot all about it, until I received a letter from ATM Solicitors advising that they have closed my case as they were unable to obtain a copy of the loan agreement.
Out of curiosity I had a look on here, I wish I had done it back in October 2009 cos the posts do not make pleasant reading. I called the solicitors who have told me they have informed Kerobo however I would need to request from them in writing a refund. I called Kerobo and they have been suspended and are only dealing with ongoing claims.
Not sure what to do now as you don't even get to speak to a human on the phone its a worrying automated voicemail message.0 -
I too used them with 3 potential claims..I paid 1000 up front with the promise of a refund if the claim did not go through for any reason. I produced all the documentation they required . After some chasing they declined one of the cases & promised a refund over 2 months ago. I have now received a letter stating that because my lender did not respond within 12 days (I gave them the agreement remember) they are refusing the refund, this even after telling me it was on its way. They rely on deception of small print to get out of paying refunds.
DON'T TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE Their telephones are no longer manned, a voicemail says to write in. I now fear they will shortly no longer exist.0
