I see the news of Edgar made it here! Sounds like everything went well if he was born at 6.13am and Sami was on the net by 2.30pm! Can't wait for piccies.

Millies Mum - we had a green poo on Wed whilst I was at Booby Club and one of the mums was going on about how it meant that Benjamin wasn't eating enough...went to clinic that afternoon and the HV said if it was a one off it could well just be a bit of a dodgy tummy. We are back to normal now.

emlou - someone swapped my angel boy for a grumpy baby this morning - was it you?? We have not had a single tear for days but this morning he cried whilst feeding  think he had a bit of wind trapped because some gripe water seems to have sorted him out for now.

AND A WORD OF WARNING ABOUT TAKING PART IN IT'S A KNOCKOUT!!!
I AM IN SO MUCH PAIN!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Edit - Weezl - I haven't forgotten about your packing question - I am typing in word as I think about it and will post on here once complete ;o)

caz, poor you! You must be shattered! Is it just vegetarian sources of iron you're interested? Are you veggie or vegan?

weezl im neither just am trying to eat a lot healthier and we have started getting the healthy start vouchers with OH not working at the mo so have stockpiled on fruit and veg and i still have lots of vouchers left!
kids are loving sweet potatoes as baked pots at the mo but i really dont know what other things we can have as im used to meat, veg, chips/pot/pasta and fancy a change lol! have been lurking on your 50p challenge so thought u were best person to ask!:rotfl:

Congrats sami - fab news. Was the HB planned? I can't remember her saying.

Millie's mum - we had a similar problem over Easter eggs and it really wound me up. In the end we had a massive family argument about it but we stuck to our guns and said that a 2yr old eating choc every day was NOT appropriate and that we should decide what she would be eating. MIL had (with the best of intentions) suggested that the eggs be sent to hers after we'd specifically asked people not to buy them.

Sounds like there's some more intent with your MIL, mine thought she was being helpful cos OH and I had made a joke about us eating them if they were here.

I'd just give them back to her once a month and point out that she could be saving her money. Or like someone else said, stockpile them for Halloween and parties? I know it really upset us that family seemed not to respect our wishes when it came to our child, but once we'd got over the initial hoo-haa (and being called cruel by SIL!) we tried really hard not to turn it into a major issue.

As it was she still got about 6 eggs - 2 of which I melted down and made into rice crispy cakes to take to my bro's and 2.5 of which we ate. She got to have some chocolate - we bought one for her - but not some every day, which I agree is totally ridiculous, even at Millie's age. HTH?

Can't remember who was asking about weaning and floor mess (was it you Weezl?) but we bought some cheapy plastic mats from Asda, 2 pack for about 99p. Put them under the high chair and they catch most stuff, then shake outside and quickly wipe over. Similar to the lino, but I guess won't last as long?
