Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I just popped online to register the previous owners of the new house with the MPS. Alice disappeared into her room and just came back wearing her sleeping bag and requesting the zip to be done up. She is obsessed with zips.

Managed to get almost everything packed from the bookcases yesterday so am going to work on our bedroom today.

Caz - its sounds like she's picked up a bug - or maybe she's just needs a really good sleep!

MFD and Becles - enjoy your holidays, i'm not jealous, honest!

Sounds like Greent had a nice easy labour - home after 4 hours. She almost beat my 2 1/2 hour record. I'm sure she'll be here to join us soon.

Sami we'e got a 5 year old springer who I think needs a good home who can give him more attention. But, I don't think OH or Liv would forgive me if I let him go. (Although i'm the only one who feeds/walks/cleans up after him).

And finally, on my back to work dilema - I was off to bed last night, and said to OH, 'Are you coming up, we can start work on my next maternity leave'. To be honest, he just looked scared, and stayed down long enough for me to fall asleep!

Oh chocaholic, I shall have to hate you now, what a shame! :p;):)

I was 20 years old at the time. DS1 is 15 in July  and there's no skinny jeans or tops in my wardrobe any more! *sigh*

I'm sat here chuckling with my morning coffee reading a mum's net thread about the silliest things people have said in labour, splutter, giggle ROTFL....

i domt think theres any contest between going back to work and not really, i will definitely be going back, not only will we need the money but i went out with my work friends last night and was reminded of how lovely they all are and how much i miss adults :o seth is lovely but when you sing "pooooooooooooooooooooooo, ewwwww!" a few times a day you almost forget how to speak to adults lol.

i'd been out for 5 mins when i got a call asking how do you sterilise a bottle

weezl - we're having wooden flooring (or so Hubby has told me! :p) so he can put it down himself.
The only problem we may have is getting a bed in time but I'm not after a snazzy bed just a plain one so hopefully can get one at short notice and not costing the earth (although my Mum is paying because we gave her our old bed that won't fit)

3 - If that dog ever needs a home we would gladly take it!! *is tempted to come and steal it* :p
I grew up with our Springer and her litters of puppies and I can't help but feel happy when I see a springer LOL I always say you can't beat the feeling of coming home and calling out pup pup puppies and hearing all the little paws pounding towards you! Its almost as good as when you come home and your child/ren shout Mummy and come running :D
Although my Parents won't be breeding again so no more pups :(

In our house I'm wondering if its worth trying to re-train Chris's bed time  he's getting up at around 9:30am and going to bed around 9:30pm This is not good but I'm not sure I have the time or energy to change it! grrr
He'll be at my Mums most of this weekend so pointless asking her to try to sort it because when at Grandma's he's usually up at 7am, naps in the day and bed at some far too late time :p

Erin has been in such a mood all day and i cant get her to feed?she is screaming and guzzles for a sec or 2 then screams again she is getting so full of wind and just wont settle. I get the wind up and she is exhausted falls asleep and then back to the beginning again? any advise? not sure whats going on?

Sounds like a bout of acidic reflux to me (silent reflux)?? Mine used to latch on and off and on cos he was hungry but the acid was burning him. Have you tried infant gaviscon?
You're having a time of it recently aren't you!! Glad Erin slep well for you though. xx

I may try and convince the family of what a wonderful life he'd could have running around the fields of Wigan..........
He is lovely, but a bit mad. Runs around like a whirlwind when certain people visit! And he's sheds so much white hair!!! He's not long had his summer hair cut and i'm sure its made no difference. Also, walking him with a pram is very difficult - he walks infront of the pram, gets run over, looks at me all sad, then does it again.
He's an 'intact' boy - but may be gay as he's never shown any interest in lady dogs, in fact he seems a bit scared of them. :rotfl:
Yes, i'll work on them over the weekend.

:rotfl:Misty who passed recently was IMHO a lesbian, She hated boy doggies and when younger would hump other girl dogs  They're funny things aren't they!
He would have a lovely time if he came here, Mum n Dad live next to a big field and he'd get a walk in the morning and a big walk in the evenings and regular holidays to both my house and weekends in the caravan;)
