madam has had a feed and we're gonna head off to have the car taxed I think
I knew they were around somewhere - it's just that I had tidied them somewhere sensible and when I do that... well... it's usually TOO sensibleDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Weezl You could try something like this
http://www.netmums.com/home/Netmums_in_Wales.487/
I know my one does local meet a mum I've never been but seemingly they are brill. You can post individually and ask to meet up individually or if your local netmums do group meet ups that might be easier coz if you don't feel right you could make excuses and leave but if you meet individuals it would be a little more difficult to leave if you didn't get on.Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
Hi, a totally different topic all together-Elliot's finally eating lumps in his food now
We've been trying trying and trying again to get him into lumps (silly hv kept telling me he HAS to have lumps and learn to chew so i felt crap because he just woulddn't chew, he hated the feeling in his mouth). Well only a week ago, i left some lumps in his food and thought hes going to spit it out as usual, but he didn't!
Yay! I kept giving him finger foods as other's recomended, which i'm sure has helped him loads.
Last night he had baby spaghetti and homemade bolognaise (can't spell)-he loved it! I'm so proud, he's learning quickly.

DS is now 10lb 9oz at 6 weeks! Growing nicely, reassuring as I'm always worrying I'm not feeding him enough. He was 8lb 9.5oz at three weeks.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

DH has decided that I can't dry pail the nappies anymore cos it makes everything else in the wash smell of wee :rotfl:
I can't work out if it's cos I didn't put nappisan in or cos I washed on a 'quick wash' settingAny question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Right - now I have 2 hands to type with (not feeding!) I can have a rant - Be Warned!!
Firstly - supermarkets!! As I have said, Benjamin is not overly keen but he did really well today lasting 45 minutes in Morrisons (I am trying them all) before getting grumpy.
I get to a til, load everything on to the belt and try and amuse him whilst we wait. By this time he has gone from a bit grumpy to upset so he starts to cry...
...the stoopid woman on the til STOPS putting the shopping through to talk to me about why Benjamin is unhappy and how old he is etc - Does she not understand that I just need to pay for the bl00dy shopping and get out of there as fast as possible
In the meantime the world stares at me like I am the worst mum in the world
Secondly (and I hope that I don't offend anyone here) - is any mum who takes her child out in the sun without a hat and protection  I have seen far too many tiny tots in buggies or prams with the sun shining directly on them in the last few days - cover the poor babies up!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
