Thanks SB.
I am pulling my hair out. We have decided to sneak a week away from 22 - 29 July (struggling to fit it in with DSS school finishing and my tender) and hubby really wants to go to the Isle of Wight...anyone know of anywhere nice that does a Wednesday start?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Sami, no, I've always been advised as to what I've been allocated and usually given a rough expected delivery date. Its usually all done via email but they have occasionally phoned me too.

OOh - I got some today - no instructions apart from a sheet telling me what date to post and whether to use sticker or handwrite address. No free stamps for me either.:beer:0 -
I have lost the ability to quote?
Oh, thats good then 3 as I thought I was missing out!.
Obviously they wish to test our expert letter posting skills before handing out the freebies!

feelie, check out maternity action website a bit of a click around will give you and OH lots of useful info to argue your case!
I didn't know this, but apparently an employer can't refuse a request to reduce hours unless they've advertised the remaining hours nationally and been unable to recruit! Sounds hopeful eh?
Gonna go car booting again today hopefully and also find some cheap compost and cheap felt from somewhere... Can anyone help?

He did, although he's been awake since 6.45 this morning so that's a pretty short night for him... just seeing if BF can lure him back asleep in the bed now. In an hour or two I shall take him to farmer's market with me I think.0 -

Fair play, it's been an exhausting time.... Hope you get a good price for him.

Yes that didn't go well, ended with OH demanding I take him away and saying "I really want to wean him now, I can't stand him %^£&$£""% chewing on my nipple any more". I'll see what I can get for him, hopefully some magic beans.0

Bruno - Roo chews on me too from time to time and the feeling of "get her away from me!!!" has popped up here too (especially when she's really chomped down on a sore nipple!) - we got/get through it with expressing
I expressed milk for a couple of days to let my nipples recover and then gradually re-introduced the boobie but only when she was hungry but calm.
When my brother and I did the chewee trick on my mum she'd growl at us... apparently it worked
Well - the new routine worked! :j :j Madam went up to bed a little later than planned but hohum - she was fast asleep by 10 and didn't wake till 3:15. Woke up and had a clean bum from mummy and then daddy gave her a good size bottle and burped her. Back in her basket with minimum fuss and lights out. Took her about 10/15 minutes to nod off but she did it without crying or screaming just a little chattering to herself
So fingers crossed we can carry on with the earlier to bed and minimal fuss to go to sleep :j :j :jDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Sami SB and 3 the postal survey send the stamps out during a certain week each month so you won't get any until one of those weeks, the next one is at least a fortnight off. I'm can't remember if you get them whilst you still doing the training letters but I think you do.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740
