Are you thinking you've got another bun in there?0 -
Ugh
hiding in bedroom with earplugs in but can still hear the screams and sobs... Elijah went down to sleep at 9, woke at 9.50 very miserable and wouldn't settle. We've found that going in at set periods to try soothing just provokes him to even greater hysteria, but I've now been listening to his uninterrupted sobbing for well over half an hour, I can't believe how stubborn he is

Mooki here is a leaflet about expressing and storing

I want to start building a frozen supply but I need to eat my way through 7 tubs of ben and jerry's to make room :rotfl:0 -
Feelie - I know you are right, thank you.thanks i have told her to change docs but she is unsure if she is staying where she is and doesnt want to change docs again. also she doesnt drive so needs one close by. its ridiculous what they are doing to her???
eventually have a sleeping baby the only way i could get her to sleep was to bounce her hard in her seat with a blanket over her head? hopefully she will sleep tonight and give me a break, but if its the only was to get 5 mins peace DO IT lol!!
LOL - I used to BF Benjamin with a muslin draped over his head at night-time so he would get bored and finally close his eyes!!! I had forgotten all about this!
Yesterday I put him in his cot and when hubby went in Benjamin had his elephant comfort blanket (you know the ones with a blanket for a body) draped over his head like a hat :rotfl:
All I heard was 'What the Elephant Hat is THAT!!!' (like the rowntrees randoms advert that we love so much)

Hubby refuses to go near her when she has hiccups because he says it upsets him. I told him that she's not bothered by them but every time she hiccups he says sorry to her with every hic. The constant apologising is worse than the hiccups!
Just wondering how you store your EBM. Can I put it in normal freezer bags. My freezer is not that big (stuffed with frozen pizzas) so I want to take up as little room as possible.
LOL at your hubby for the dancing and the apologising!
Boobie Milk bags are expensive!! I just bought some new ones and they were £6.99 for 40 from Boots. I had Tesco ones before and they are exactly the same as the Boots ones.
Just a note - the Lansinoh (sp?) ones only hold 6oz of milk and that is no longer enough for me - I now express over 6oz in most of my evening sittings...although I am now 17 weeks in at first I was only managing 2oz at a time.
Bruno - I feel for you. Makes me want to cry just reading about itplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Early on... I was hospitalised and severely dehydrated already when they scanned me and found I was 6 weeks... I'm sure I'd been yacking up for a good couple of weeks already by then... Can't remember exactly but think it was about 2-3 weeks before I first felt sick... I only gave in and went to get something for it when I hadn't kept anything down for a couple of days - including water.DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Hrm. After 45 minutes he stopped his top-level wailing, but for the last 10 he's still been doing those little pathetic hiccup-sobs. Trying to avoid making any noise which could stir him up again but at some pt will have to sneak back in at least to cover him! I hope we don't have to do this too many times before he gets the message...0

I just managed 6fl oz and Roo already had a serious feed... MOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :rotfl: (and I'm only at 7 weeks! You see why I want to donate? just a !!!!!! I'd have to drive my milk 30 minutes to donate it!)
Bags are expensive though so if it's milk I'm going to use I tend to put it in bottles in the fridge - I try to only use the bags if I want to freeze it...
BTW... does it curdle when you unfreeze it? Should you defrost it in a special way or something? (just looking at my "stash"....)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Fingers crossed for you! We have started putting Roo down tonight in the bedroom without us (she used to be allowed to nod off down with us and often ON us or even on the boob... I'm HOPING that I can stop things escalating before getting to the stage you're at after reading the troubles you've been having! I don't know how you cope I honestly don't!
