I'm sure she didn't mean it like that - I think after 25 years you'd pick up the slightest sign - even ones we might not spot.
And stop the "guilty cos I couldn't deliver naturally" lark - I had forceps too and I met a baby the other day who was born in the same hospital as Roo about 90 minutes after her by CS - and I don't think either of us felt slightly guilty about not being able to deliver normally :)
You have a beautiful healthy baby - any signs however slight will soon vanish :)

Sorry - we had a bit of a traumatic experience after Benjamin was born where he was taken away in an ambulance with talk of 'injury' and 'damage' because of the way he was delivered. We have since had brain scans and physio and all sorts and I guess it has scarred me a bit :o

My baby was taken to NICU for 2 weeks because of the way he was delivered, I felt the same way, but you know what, they have to come out some way, does it really matter how ???
And would you change him for the world?:D

A lady in the cafe said about my son "Aww, how premature was he?", she used to be a nurse in NICU and could just tell although he was only 2 months early!!

    Caz,
They should refer him. They are on one hand admitting that there is a problem by prescribing the meds, yet wont refer him!! Is there a GP within the practice who specialises in paeds or gastro? If he continues to loose weight then they will have to refer.
Hope they get things sorted soon x

well HV was out today and as he has put on wait for it..... 1/2 an oz they are not worried:eek: she will refer him to a dietician and he has to get weighed weekly and fed every 2 hours? just seems like a joke to me??? noone is interested no matter how loud we shout or push. hospital have said they wont see him without a referal so its a case of going round in circles?

had an awful day, kids playing up something rotten, erin wont stop screaming and i just feel that i have had enough! have only just managed to have dinner and its the first i have eaten all day? am going to climb into bed with a dvd i got from my mum and hope tom is a better day!
What's for you won't go past you

    Okay - you win!!!

I guess I am just shocked that 17 weeks on she can still tell that he was a forceps delivery  if he was still a newborn I could understand it but he is a monster!!!

My dentist did that!!! The minute I walked in when I was pregnant he said 'that's a boy' in a really matter of fact way!! I knew I was having a boy so I knew he was right but it was really spooky!!!

When I went back to the dentist on Tuesday he said 'so you had a little boy right?' :rotfl:

I can't believe that she can tell just by looking at my beautiful little boy how he was delivered  I feel awful, I feel guilty enough about my inability to deliver naturally as it is without the worry that you can tell just by looking at him
    *shakes finger*
YOU, young lady, are meant to be a wise woman so thats enough of that talk! its not your fault benjamin was just too comfy to come out. and i guarantee she could only tell cos she was a midwife for so long, no "normal" person would be able to tell from looking at him. he is here and you are both well and that is what matters :D

how ridiculous, when i think of the massive deal they made of seth dropping down to the 25th percentile from the 50th which he was at birth and then not coming back up again for months! they need to do a job here and they just arent! could she transfer to another GP that is a little more supportive?

you're not alone on the kind of day you've had - i spent two hours with cotton wool in my ears in a effort to try and muffle the screaming today :o
for some reason he has decided that he doesnt want to be cuddled when he is tired, and he arches his back and kicks, punches, pinches and scratches, but if you put him down the screaming gets even louder  i dont know how he still has a voice, i wouldnt if i screamed as much as he does at the moment! the only thing that settles his is being rocked in his buggy but i dont want to get into the trap of him only falling asleep in that so i'm only using it as a last resort :(

Krystal is it the one I found or did you find another?
I don't think so but pregnancy fogs the memory... We were watching about 3 at the time, trying to get one for a decent price to make it worth buying 2nd hand(although ours was bnwt) they still fetched a really good price...

    Fritha, loving the Joey!

We just fetched out the 3-6m clothes ready for washing... Caitlyn's feet are straining at the toes of the 0-3's and I couldn't do all the buttons up on her gillet today, they strained round her little tum... Don't think she'll be fitting this size much longer...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
