It is aimed at kids leaving their room, Jasmine (happy coinsidence of the brat on that show:)) gets up but stays in her room or just lays in bed talking and singing to herself or bouncing on her bed !!! Any suggestions on what i do with her ???
Mine were allowed to read in bed for a bit beyond bedtime, and then the light went off. At that age we always had bedroom doors open so it was easy to check up on them. They shut their doors now.Must go... Chris is trying to breast feed Ed :undecided :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Those considering whats interesting to mush up for babyfood, Butternut squash is your friend!
Imaginary friends, I can't believe I'm telling you this cos it makes her sound properly bonkers but Millie didn't have imaginary friends but she calls her feet Felleco (left) and Penecco (right) and talks to them!
On the plus side she goes to bed at 7 and goes straight to sleep until I go and wake her in the morning, so its swings and roundabouts really,- mad but sleeps or sane but doesn't.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -

Hi all... not been on for a few days. Massive falling out on Wednesday night -can't be bothered to go into details, as I will only upset myself again, but we are drawing a line and trying to fix a few things that have been festering for a while and hopefuly we can be friends again and get on better than we have been over the past few months. ~crosses fingers~
Izzy is a real chatter box now. She loves the sound of her own voiceShe is rolling all over the place now too, to the extent that I can't really leave her on her own (except in her not-a-bumbo, or in her cot) for a minute, as I don't know where she will end up. I've been busy trying to baby proof the living room, but there are still lots of bits of kitchen I can't put away yet, and cables and things. We will get there though
Right now she is playing peepo under my skirt. I have to keep looking round the laptop and asking myself where she is, then "finding her" to lots of giggles.
Got Izzy weighed yesterday and she has stopped putting on weight. (She has also been waking more at night, which is really draining) HV told me to give her more carbs than I have been and start feeding her some protein too. She recommended fish and chicken, so baby will have to have the occasional jar for now until DH cooks some (I am vegetarian and have no idea how to cook meat. I don't mind trying, but I have been known to give DH food poisoning by accident, because I have no clue what I am doing!!! Don't want to do that to baby ) She has been eating cheese too this week, and loving it so that is good. As well as meals I need to start giving her more snacks. Any ideas what to try? (Am copying whoeve r it was the other day and bolding the question I actually came on here to ask!) She loves rice cakes, and I was thinking I could spread something on them to make them a bit more nutritious, but I'm at a loss as to what. I've cooked off some pasta today too, so I'm going to see what she makes of that.
I'm also meant to be trying not to give her milk when she wakes at 4am, as that seems to be stopping her want breakfast. Which is fine, except I think it's going to result in us both getting up at 4am for the time being, until she starts feeling less hungry and sleeping for longer. We've both been up since about 5am today, and no sign of a nap. (She has dozed off in the car, and dozed off after a feed, but only slept for a couple of minutes after I put her down.) I'm getting a cold too, so I could really do with a nap myself, but never mind. At least baby will be getting anti-bodies from me
Big signs up about Swine Flu at the clinic too - they're not putting toys out incase it is spread via the toys. As long as I haven't got that we will be ok
I hope you guys are all ok. We're going to venture to the supermarket and stand in the baby-snacks aisle looking for inspiration, so I'll see all your bright ideas when I get back and have to go shopping again tomorrow, but never mindIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Assuming he's going for M police not C they sometimes send you on courses that are run from rented conference facilities at united biscuits and you can get bargain biscuits from the factory shop :money:
No - he's going for C, where his Dad is. (We're right on the border - and he didn't fancy policing on his own doorstep!).:beer:0 -

Ladybird- I put peanut butter on rice cakes but obv you need to think about allergies, anabel carmel suggests a strawberry spread are you growing any? If you want me to type the recipie I can. Chris also likes pate and meat spreads but i'm not sure if they ok so young?
Hope you can sort things out xx:)0 -
I have bought some random packs of snacks, some soft cheese and some avocado (I figure avocado puree would work as a spread too, and it freezes). I was going to have a read of the lables of fish paste/pate, but the loos were shut and I knew I was going to sneeze soon, and my pelvic flor is still not my friend, so it turned into the quickest shopping trip ever. I didn't even get myself any choccie, so I had to have a chocolate milkshake when I got in instead. Nice but not quite the same.
MFD, I'd not thought of hummas. I made up some baby hummas with just a taste of garlic to get her used to it (we eat a lot of garlic so it will be a real pain if she doesn't like it when she is bigger!) and that would work as a spreadIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009
