12th July in northern ireland
we all get a day off to watch a load of bands parade through your local town and by cheap tat like toy drums and flags and then go to the pub and get very very drunk
At least that is usually how my day goes !! Not sure if everyones 12th is the same !!The two best things I have done with my life

Every 12th, we are either in Disneyland paris or Alton towers. This is our first 12th of July at home
We live in a mixed area which is normally very quiet and residential but there have been problems here in the past with roads being blocked and catholics not allowed to pass (which we are)0 -

Well I live in Coleraine and I am sure you cant have missed the news lately about my wee town and the lovely murder and following fights !!
We live in a mixed area as well and are a mixed marriage too, so life can be a bit difficult sometimes:)
I like to see the bands, and Jasmine enjoys them too, Chris doesnt have the time of day for them, so me and his mum stand and watch them !!The two best things I have done with my life

I did see the news, its very scary what has been happening. Im sure its not easy in a mixed marriage. Thankfully neither me nor DH or our famillies have been directly affected by what has gone on, but it does frighten me, thats why we have always gone on holidays, though any excuse for a break away is fine by me.
I've never watched the 12th parades apart from on TV sometimes, though we do go the St. Patricks parade every year and buy similar tat :rotfl:0 -

I took him to the GP on 2/6/09 and he gave us piriton and told me to com eback in 4-6 weeks if things havent improved, well they havent and so now i'm taking him back.
Mum is sure there is something needs sorting, I just dont want to be fobbed off as a neurotic motherSignature removed for peace of mind0
