sorry about that long post, thats a lot of chatting you did!!

i am not having a good day today!!
seth wanted fed at 2am, 4am and then wouldnt go back down again
    then the shower pane leaked
then the kitten chewed a hole in seths changing mat
then i dropped fabric conditioner all over the floor and freshly tumbled washing
then the kitten tried to get in the hamster cage
then a fly went on the kittens freshly boiled chicken i spent ages chopping into tiny pieces to settle his belly before i could cover it up
then while i was clearing the wasted chicken away the kitten ate seths breakfast
then seth was sick everywhere while lying down so i had to wash his hair
then when i got round to actually feeding him (fresh) breakfast the doorbell rang with a gas salesman (we're in a flat !!!!!!!! use some brains!) the kitten ate it AGAIN
then seth somehow weed through his nappy (a good one not the pampers economy one!) and it went through his bouncy chair onto the carpet and all over my jeans
then seth started sneezing so i think he's getting OH's sniffles!

add in a baby whingeing pretty much constantly through all of that and that is my day so far! and all before 9.30am

seth is niw fast asleep on me and i dread to think what kitty is up to... i just hope he's asleep!! i wish i was...

On the bright side, em, your afternoon can only get better! ;)

    xx

I've txt my mum re-doggy, she's a work so will prob have a responce at lunch depending on if she just says yes (I have a feeling she may) or if she call's dad to discuss first xx

Ok - let me know whenever. Also, forgot to mention - we do deliver! :D It'll get us out of the house and she likes to sleep in the car (Violet - not Prenton).
Right I cant use supernanny bed time thing. It is aimed at kids leaving their room, Jasmine (happy coinsidence of the brat on that show:)) gets up but stays in her room or just lays in bed talking and singing to herself or bouncing on her bed !!! Any suggestions on what i do with her ???

Definately a smile Sami - he's obviously very advanced :D.

Well done your friend! However, it drives me insane where it says they siezed the bike, but the culprits were later released . Its like the police programmes OH is obsessed with. They go to the trouble of catching and arresting people, only for them to be released without charge, or charged and given a telling off or a silly fine!

OH has got his next round of the recruitment process for the proper police tomorrow - i think he's terrified! Its so hard to get into, especially as a hetrosexual white male - but don't get me started on that! Can we have some good luck thoughts sent this way - my going back to work depends on OH's success! :D
ooh Good Luck to your OH! does he want to be an actual 'bobby' or is it an office job? I love that MIL is in the police she tells me things she shouldn't :shhh:

try being a white heterosexual protestant male in northern ireland like 2 of my best mates, they have no chance at the minute !!!!! :) Now before anyone wants to think I am being a bit racist with that comment, I married a Catholic, so I cant hate them that much:rotfl:

Thanks for the link Bruno - but how much! Its an awful lot of money if we don't get on with it! (3 is off for a mooch on ebay!)

Someone has stolen my delete key! I've got a new keyboard after there was a baby/water/laptop incident and I can't find the delete key on it! Anyway, 3 if you come to sling meet you can try on different slings which will give you more of an idea of what you do and don't like, thereby lessening the chance of buying one that isn't right :-)

So's mine but Roo just doesn't like it at all! *sigh*

Tine, are you trying her in a cradle hold or upright? A lot of babies don't seem to like the cradle hold so it could be that. Depending on how old she is and how good her head control is you could try her upright :-)

Have a look here for your nearest sling meet btw :-)

  • Good luck to 3's OH! :j

I have two policemen in my family and they both really enjoy their job.

Cradle hold... Might have to give the upright a go... Roo is 7 weeks today and can sit up when held, reasonably good head control... hmmm might be worth giving it a go later... she's a bit crabby at the moment so probably not the best time to try LOL
